Spending mega bucks in free agency for a second straight season would be a bad sign.

The movement drills show a lot. Those just don't make as easy a headline as 40 times, verticals, etc. That said, the combine doesn't erase bad tape. Many workout warriors have been overdrafted because of a great combine.

I don't really view Warren as an elite TE and this class is pretty loaded at that position, so I would be against taking him at 8.
-
I would say it is far less likely than last year for some of the reasons stated. I don't want a haul, I just want some more top 90 picks.
-
Yeah, this is pretty universally acknowledged as a very, very weak QB draft. I don't think we get a QB bump unless Sanders or Ward slides but that is also a scenario where the NFL's most QB desperate teams are passing on them, which is a bad sign for value to trade up.

The pool of obvious elite players is extremely, extremely small. Likely all of them will be gone at 8.

100%. The depth in this class is outstanding at several positions of need. We need more 1st-3rd round picks. The value had at 8 isn't worth it, IMO.
-
FWIW, this is a fairly thin OT class. This is a bad time to be making this replacement if we choose to do so via the draft.
-
He is 28. Closer to the end than the beginning, most likely.
-
Dart is talented but the success(or lack thereof) from that system is going keep a LOT of teams away from him until later in the draft.
-
Not sure I believe that after the RB group tore it up.
-
Yeah, the announcers were shocked.

Lovers of Tez Johnson, he ran a 4.55 and 4.51 at 154 lbs. That is really not good.
-
This is not a very fast group of WR's.
-
Lol @ Bond running a 4.41 after claiming he could do a 4.1-4.2
-
We should take a RB this year. Thia class is bananas.
-
I do want to keep him because he is cheap and he is a valuable backup at multiple spots. Taking away a valuable backup is just another big hole to fill.
-
I think he will draw some but Panther fans MASSIVELY overrate him. He is a valuable backup and that's really it.
-
Sounds right. That's the difference between professional sports fans and college fans. Once you aren't on the team, pro sports fans move on. College sports fans care zero about pro football except being homers for their typically underwhelming players.
-
If we keep BC, we have at least a backup option. We need OT depth anyway.
-
Makes me think OT might be on the menu at 8. I wouldn't hate it.
