Well....there is the real Sam. Guys, you can't keep getting fooled by this poo. He gets limited for a reason.
-
Him too.
-
Yeah, this is extremely obvious what is going on.
-
Lol. As if the Saints do?
-
Well, it's also completely caught them by surprise, so it is working.
-
Nope.
-
Are you literally high? Bennett isn't even remotely like Warren Moon. WTF are you going on about? Have you ever watched college football? How about Stetson Bennett's career? Pretty clearly not.
-
Agreed but you have to fall on that ball. That was dumb to try and scoop it.
-
Wow. Luvu!
-
Ooof. That was bad.
-
Okay. I am just not going to comment on them again.
-
Their offense is completely out of sorts.
-
Literally could not.
-
Or not!
-
Well that was poor timing on my part.
-
TB is making every mistake possible. This could get ugly.
-
I mean, the lowest possible one. There will be literally no market for him at all. Which if you want a backup, that bodes well for us.
-
I am not trying to jinx this but I don't see any way that offense mounts a comeback on that lead.
-
Sam looking like prime Trent Dilfer out there. Wow.
-
Well, that bodes well for us. We don't have a big margin for error so that is a huge deal.
-
This is a very weird game.
-
Those are not comparable players in any way.

Can Sam Darnold play himself into becoming the 2023 starter?
kungfoodude replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't really understand how you got to him being a good player in the NFL this season but I guess that is your prerogative. It would be a very bad sign for the franchise for him to return in anything other than a lowly paid backup player in 2023. Almost every other scenario is extremely bad for us as a team and franchise. But, it would be a very Panthers thing to make that mistake.....again. -
So the Titans giving up on Malik Willis already?

If you aren't a viable option to play by your third year in the NFL, the odds are it just isn't going to work out for you. And that's fine for a guy like Will Grier that you stash as a third stringer until you release him. That's basically the way I look at Corral, he is about the same level of project. If he doesn't show progression(and significant) in 2023, it usually is what it is. Keep in mind that we aren't in film study, workouts, practices, etc. I am sure most on the inside can probably tell much more quickly than we can what the issue with some players are. And some just don't get a fair shake for a variety of reasons. I just know that as QB desperate as we are(worst QB room in the NFL for more than two seasons), if he isn't seeing the field in 2023, that is pretty bad. -

He has five years of NFL experience and has conclusively shown he isn't a starting caliber NFL QB. It's rare that a bust gets as many opportunities as Sam Darnold, especially in the modern NFL. He isn't going to suddenly become a good player in the NFL. It's unfortunate but that is what you get chasing potential sometimes.
