  1. Jackson's improvement in that area has been noticeable all season long. Too bad he is getting roasted in pass coverage the past 2-3 weeks.
  2. I would take Tomlin in a heartbeat but remember that Seifert was the winningest coach in NFL history from a legendary franchise when we hired him. Entirely possible neither Cowher nor Tomlin would be nearly as successful as non-Steelers coaches.
  3. I'd take...... 1. Kenny Pickett 2. Carson Strong 3. Matt Corrall 4. Sam Howell 5. Malik Willis 6. Resmond Ridder I haven't seen the WKU kid, so maybe he factors in. Pickett is a bottom half of the first, top of the 2nd guy, IMO. What a year we picked to not have QB figured out AND not have any Day 2 picks. Edit: Most of my list is actually interchangeable based on what a team wants. Any of those guys could be shuffled around, IMO. Not a big gap between them.
  4. That didn't age well. Also, FWIW, Sam Hartman's ceiling is probably a Day 3 pick. That was before his performance against Pitt.
  5. This is what I believe plays in Sean Payton's head when he sees Taysom The Golden Calf of Bristol.
  6. Martinook didn't look good. Hope it wasn't a tear.
  7. Cannot lost this game. I know the COVID has beaten us up....but we need this.
  8. Moore: Good Burns: Eh....leaning towards Good but not Great. Brown: Not Good. Just hasn't developed. Chinn: Good. I warned he might slump in the preseason as he adjusts to playing DB in the NFL. Keep in mind while he was supposedly all-world in 2020 that he was not that good in coverage. Anderson: Good but not as good as we paid him to be. Carter: Not good. Simply a backup level player. Snow: This is tough. Inclined to lean good but is the team laying down or is he the same as the rest of our staff and unable to adjust when opposing teams scheme well?
  9. Yep. Already prepping for it. Watch Tampa sit everyone the last game and we smoke them for the 6th.
  10. Rhule was somewhat publicly critical of our offense, if you recall. I think if Tepper demands heads, Brady will be an obvious choice.
  11. Having a bunch of NFL experience is exactly what this staff needs. I do question if they are going to struggle to get those kind of guys here because of Rhule's lack of NFL experience.
  12. I am curious to see how this all plays out. Rhule staying but being forced to make staff changes will have a lot of intrigue. I am curious to see if he starts turning on people when his job might be under threat. I don't think he has ever held a job long enough to even be on a hot seat.
  13. Great breakdown. Thanks for this @Mr. Scot
  14. I think the team is starting to lay down. We will see in two weeks. If they get smashed after a bye week, it's over.
  15. There is literally no argument against the CMC deal being a bad idea. None. What is worse is that all the hand wringing about CMC holding out seems comical now. We literally had no reason to sign that extension when we did. Had we not.....we probably don't give him that contract at all.
  16. If Tepper buys anything Rhule is selling, I have no idea how he became a hedge fund billionaire.
  17. I think the staff is seeing the benefit in having a real veteran QB with Cam being back. We'll sign Kurt Warner to a 3 year contract.
