  1. Brady was in over his head but it was Rhule who out him there. Hence why I don't believe in Fitterer. Keep in mind he was hand selected by Tepper and Rhule. The track record of those two is pretty pathetic. I was down on the 2021 class and unfortunately they couldn't even meet my low expectations. Maybe a new coach will turn it around but I tend to be of the belief that successful players are going to be successful in the NFL almost regardless of coaches.
  2. I agree it is early to say finally but I didn't see much to make my opinion of them change in year 1. Even a guy I liked, TMJ, REALLY looks like a bust. So, my expectations are very low we did much other than get rotational guys after Horn. If so, easily the worst draft class we have had in a while. Precisely because we passed on good players frequently
  3. I think the trade back is likely just going to lead to disaster and the realization that Fitterer has no clue what he is doing. He is very attached to the "spray and pray" method and I don't think that is going to lead to success. If you want to load up on draft picks, don't squander them during the season, actually pay attention to compensatory picks and trade players FOR picks rather than vice versa. Everyone got hyped about all these draft picks from 2021 and none of them became starting players or even impact depth guys. They were largely roster fillers or disappointments. I realize asking rookies to start right away may be asking a lot....but not on a roster as barren as ours. Hence why I genuinely only want to see a trade back if all these LT's or DE's are gone.
  4. This is just basically a pre-draft Huddle temp check.
  5. In 2020? You sure that was a good draft in hindsight?
  6. The real question is, who is calling the shots? The structure is that Rhule has final say, so we will see.
  7. Optimism/Pessimism at 50/50 in the wee hours. I am interested to compare this to a post draft poll.
  8. So you literally didn't read the post?
  9. Default mode of Huddle is basically anger at this point. 4 straight losing seasons will do that.
  10. I am sort of expecting the worst at this point. My fear is that we will have multiple good choices at 6 and choose none of them.
  11. If cover the interior of the line with my thumb, it looks pretty good.
  12. I disagree. They aren't in college to get degrees. They are in college to play football. The best indicators are what they have always been. Talent, football intelligence and work ethic. Trying to deduce football success from something that has limited or no relevance to football isn't logical.
  13. I don't think every FO is going to rank those guys the same. There isn't a clear cut "best" in that group.
  14. I highly doubt that would show any correlation to NFL success either. You are aware that the SAT and ACT are also poor predictors of college success, right? This shouldn't be super stunning news that a tool like the Wonderlic has zero relevance.
  15. I mean it actually didn't show any correlation at all. This was studied multiple times and Wonderlic scores had no correlation to NFL success. It's just a bad tool for anything to do with the NFL. I am not inventing this. This was studied multiple times and all the conclusions were the same.
  16. I think the biggest reason they are doing away with it is that it didn't show a strong correlation to NFL success(or lack thereof). You can easily enough figure out if a player is going to be the kind of "smart" you need by breaking down film with them or having them explain plays or schemes in an interview.
