    Yeah but Baker playing at a high level may not lead to winning. Do you remember recent Superb Owl champion Matt Stafford's entire career with the Lions? Do you remember Matt Ryan's time with Atlanta? Deshaun Watson with Houston? You can be a really good or even elite QB and not be able to overcome shitty coaching or just a poo situation. Hell, look at our own Cam Newton.

    I would say possible but unlikely. I suspect we are going to finally see Rhule prove himself as the NFL's worst head coach. TBH, anything less than a winning record will cement that. Especially with all the hype about our offseason.

    You learn by playing. That is literally the job of a professional football player and ESPECIALLY first round picks. There is no excuse for being as dense as Rhule is being. The fact is that he has no fuging idea what he is doing when it comes to poo like this. He cannot get his head out of a HS/college mentality.

    You draft a LT that high, he is your starter. That's just how it goes. He takes his lumps and learns on the job. Literally almost every top 15 drafted left tackle in the last decade has started at....TACKLE. So if we don't do that, it isn't because Rhule has figured something out other coaches haven't. It's that he hasn't figured out what everyone else already knew.

    To be fair, it's hard to judge payment AFTER production. That's like saying CMC has been a killer deal for us. I love DJ but he will still have to live up to his current contract. That's a future thing. not a past thing.

    I would still rather the reps be split between Corral and Mayfield but after Corral's own comments I tend to agree. His skill set seems to be suited to what we are doing but he needs some seasoning.

    I was told he was the best player in this draft. Then he worked out and most of those voices got quiet.

    Remember the NFL did technically want a longer suspension and a large fine. This was the decision by the arbitrator based on previous cases she selected that were "similar."

    They won't. The worst they have gotten is over Kaepernick and that all blew over too. In fairness, they have a long way to go to hit boxing level of corruption.

    The NFL will likely appeal just simply because the optics look better for them. Then they can point to the female arbitrator and say, "Well she said this was what it is!" Convenient scapegoat for an organization that in reality would rather Watson paid them all to STFU and this never come to light at all.

    Yeah, I understand that. I am going to that game so I wouldn't mind seeing a Watson vs. Mayfield game. That would be hyper entertaining as a storyline.
