I don't think you are understanding what we mean by leadership. Rhule is reportedly notorious for micromanaging, so changing some parts underneath him aren't likely to have a big impact. He is still the guy calling the shots on personnel and schemes. He still dictates that. That is what we mean by leadership. The guy who we literally signed a contract that said he is basically in charge of all of it. Until that changes, and we won't know that immediately, then why would it matter what random assortment of people are underneath him? How are those guys supposed to move the needle?
-
I don't share that view largely due to the people in charge(Tepper/Rhule) being so obviously out of their depth. Then you consider how poorly the last two offseasons have gone(and sadly looking like a third is likely), I am not buying the "improvements." I definitely hope I am wrong about the latter part because if I am not, this current rebuild is gonna look like child's play.
-
I mean, we are gonna lose anyway so seeing them strike out on a third straight QB would be funny in a morbid sort of way.
-
Well we largely haven't, given that we are 27-31 in games he plays in his career. That's basically the issue with RB's in general in the modern era of the NFL. They can help you win but they very rarely win on their own.

Not impressed until I see your noodling hauls.

Most will not be upset about winning, despite what you think. I think most are also smart enough to see through what he is. It really didn't take long to see it. But, I am sure "head in the sand" is nice.

I live the idea of the bottom of the roster churn. But prioritizing it over starting or elite talent? Insane.

You will be at the point that the majority of the fanbase is now. Just understand that. We just got there before you are about to.

We should be in position to get a LT tomorrow night.

Erving was bad from game fuging one. At least Darnold made a few people think he was worth a poo for 3 games. -
My default is now, "Prove it." We hear plenty of talk about "Culture" and "Brand" and all this other fuging buzzword BS. I want to see fuging wins and accomplishments, not listen to a bunch of fuging used car salesman try and convince a bunch of Southern rubes they have a plan. Tired of this BS. Beyond tired of it. Figure it the fug out. Get a coach who isn't a fuging shyster and find a GM that doesn't view 11 5th rounders as more valuable than a first rounder.

So you have already come to terms with the fact that you know we won't ever see a winning season with him as head coach? You have come to terms with the fact that we will not be able to gain or retain talent because they have zero ability to identify or develop it? You have come to terms with the fact that quality free agents will continue to avoid us because we are a chaotic franchise? You sure you have really come to terms with that or are you just lying to yourself? I understand that as a coping mechanism but it genuinely doesn't change the reality of the situation which is extremely clear.
-
Okay. Tell me the solutions. I am not seeing them, outside regime change.
-
You are aware we have 4 straight losing seasons, correct? Very, very high probability that it is about to be 5? So.....how are you surprised by this? Did you think we would just smile and be happy about??
-
You do understand that all the bitching is completely warranted, right? Unless you really just love being an NFL laughingstock. If so, I mean....pass me whatever meds you are on.

Move over, Dan Snyder! Tepper is now the worst owner in the NFL. 100% confirmed.

Baltimore and Eagles looking to trade up....
kungfoodude replied to Lurk21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes.....just what we need, more 4th rounders. -
Brady was in over his head but it was Rhule who out him there. Hence why I don't believe in Fitterer. Keep in mind he was hand selected by Tepper and Rhule. The track record of those two is pretty pathetic. I was down on the 2021 class and unfortunately they couldn't even meet my low expectations. Maybe a new coach will turn it around but I tend to be of the belief that successful players are going to be successful in the NFL almost regardless of coaches.
-
I agree it is early to say finally but I didn't see much to make my opinion of them change in year 1. Even a guy I liked, TMJ, REALLY looks like a bust. So, my expectations are very low we did much other than get rotational guys after Horn. If so, easily the worst draft class we have had in a while. Precisely because we passed on good players frequently
-
I think the trade back is likely just going to lead to disaster and the realization that Fitterer has no clue what he is doing. He is very attached to the "spray and pray" method and I don't think that is going to lead to success. If you want to load up on draft picks, don't squander them during the season, actually pay attention to compensatory picks and trade players FOR picks rather than vice versa. Everyone got hyped about all these draft picks from 2021 and none of them became starting players or even impact depth guys. They were largely roster fillers or disappointments. I realize asking rookies to start right away may be asking a lot....but not on a roster as barren as ours. Hence why I genuinely only want to see a trade back if all these LT's or DE's are gone.

This is just basically a pre-draft Huddle temp check.
