  1. Great post. It's funny that I remember how having a "possession" receiver was such a big thing before all these spread offense became the norm. Lacking the ability to separate is one of the quickest ways out of the league now.
  2. He is saying that it's an incentive for the fans to give feedback. And also that Tepper is a shyster.
  3. Yeah, I am skeptical of the supposed "genius" of McAdoo. But, really we just need him to be competent and it's an improvement. I think we can all agree on that. I am also a little perplexed by the crowd that has elevated his status as QB whisperer to almost mythical proportions. I don't think he would unemployed for so long if he was really an exceptional guy at developing QB talent. But....he just has to be better than Brady, so his bar is gonna be pretty low.
  4. Ron was an established entity in the NFL already. I wouldn't have hired him as a HC personally but he also wasn't a disaster. McAdoo on the other hand actually was a disaster as a HC. I don't know if he will work out or not but you don't find many NFL coaches that cannot get employed for the length of time that he did. It's definitely not a great sign.
  5. I mean, that last part is damning enough. Not being able to be employed at your job for that long is a bad look. Great or even good OC's aren't on the shelf that long unless they want to be.
  6. Oh I would bet a significant amount of money on us seeing a 5th straight. You know what's sad? I had the thought the other day about how much better it would have been had we literally just kept Ron.
  7. If they made the stadium the only area in NC that using weed was legal, it will be packed for the foreseeable future. It would be kind of quiet but at least it wouldn't have a bunch of cheering opposing fans.
  8. Yeah but that isn't gonna happen for a while at this rate. I don't think the city is in the mood for funding a new stadium and I doubt they are going to get a lot of traction on a new area after the Rock Hill fiasco. Plus, they would literally be selling a product at it's absolute lowest point. You think the public wants to hear whining about needed a new stadium after 4 straight years of losing?
  9. See. That meltdown didn't take long. That most hilarious thing is that you literally do this to yourself. Even if I didn't try to spin you up even more, you would do it anyway. You pick fights with every user that doesn't have your exact opinion. Notice how you keep having problems with poster after poster? You ever consider maybe you are the problem?
  10. They'll just use the ideas for the new stadium and then take away our PSL's when they build it. #TepperMagic
  11. Well most dumb people don't know they are dumb, right? Same thing applies here. I hope he never gets banned, TBH. His hysterics are fuging hilarious. I am sure they get tiresome for the bulk of the users here but I actually get a kick out of him spinning himself up over the smallest possible thing. He's definitely in the top 20 of most obviously mentally ill Huddle posters, IMO.
  12. If they offer it to me, my advice is gonna be to get a new coach. It's had a pretty big impact on game day experiences.
  13. I disagree, you have to actually be effective to be a bully. He's more like a Times Square barker on PCP.
  14. Not every DE is a 6-6, 290 lber. He can make up for being light in the ass with technique and athletic ability. We just need him to get better technically. If we can do that, he will be an elite pass rusher. He has all that potential.
  15. Even your attempts at insults are neutered. I would think it was sad if it didn't make me laugh so much. I do appreciate you doing your own OTA's like the team is. Gotta get in that practice making a meme out of yourself so that you will be in top shape by the time the season starts.
  16. Your illiteracy is telling. It's the most apropos statement you could make. Also, if you need me to link definitions to big words, I can do it. I am sure you struggle to understand quite a bit of this.
  17. I mean this dude basically admitted to this board getting into his head. I can only imagine the level of mental weakness that takes. It's a fuging sports message board. If you get obsessed to the level that some of these idiots do, the internet is just not for you. Go make some friends or read a book. Can you imagine how badly these people are warped by social media if this is all it takes to get them to melt down? Wow.
  18. Now this is the definition of irony.
  19. I suspect they would just go the Deshaun Watson route and pay him to stay home. Better for both of them.
  20. Yeah and when Rhule was getting a lot of credit in 2020 for playing all those rookies, well....he didn't have very much of a choice at the time. It wasn't a bold move it was just the reality of the roster. If you get one good, quality backup player from your 4-7th rounder per year, that is doing pretty damn good. Anything beyond that is great.
  21. I don't even see how you can be trolled by them anymore. A @TheSpecialJuan troll anymore would be to post a legit title. That would be the thing that fooled me.
  22. It's a rookie deal, that money is guaranteed. They could try to take it from him but it really wouldn't matter. Still counts against the cap. I also think the Browns have basically already moved on. I don't think they are interested in a malcontent QB torpedoing their season.
  23. I think Baker likely holds out in that scenario. I would imagine that is an irreparable rift.
  24. I think you are overreacting a bit. The article isn't anything more than speculation based on some sources she probably has and filling in some blanks. Also, it isn't the first source to mention this potential move nor the difference of opinion on Baker. I mean....none of this is at all outlandish or remotely not believeable. It's mostly outdated after the draft, I would say. Also, there really isn't a real benefit to the Browns for her to spread this information. It's not going to make the Panthers more likely to make this trade. So, the "team mouthpiece" angle doesn't really seem to fit this specific scenario. It's much ado about nothing. I have no doubt there isn't consensus opinion on Baker in our FO and coaching staff. I have no doubt that we have contacted the Browns about Baker and may indeed still do so in the future. For better or worse, Fitterer seems extremely active in keeping tabs on other teams and talking about various players/deals. It's not really anything other than some offseason conversation banter. That's pretty much it.
