Richardson is the guy I actually want no parts of. Everything about him says huge bust. If he is smart he goes back to school and really doubles down on improving as a passer. It's fine to be a big athlete with a great skill set but you have to actually be able to pass the ball effectively at an NFL level. Currently he is arguably the worst QB in the SEC, which isn't a good starting point. I would DEFINITELY take KJ Jefferson over Richardson. To me that isn't even a real discussion. Jefferson is worlds better than Richardson.

Multiple research studies have suggested there is a link between artifical turf and higher injury rates. The NFL is saying different yet don't offer much to back up these claims. They say it could be weather, cleats, etc. Strange how that mirrors their long term defense against head injuries. The bottom line is that you can't trust the NFL because they care about their bottom line above anything else.

Lots of mistakes by Seattle too, though. Tampa is playing well but Seattle is also playing poorly.

Sometimes people just don't develop. That's kind of the guys we have at the moment. It's possible they could but it's also possible they just aren't NFL starter material. I lean heavily towards the latter.

Yes. That is what I am saying. YGM is a backup and he'd be fine as that. We need another starting quality DE. We don't currently have that on the team. We have a lot of decent to mediocre rotational guys.

He's a decent rotational guy. Any thoughts of him being a full time starter should be gone.

I think we basically set him up to fail but plenty of it is still on his shoulders. He is the one making some of these boneheaded decisions. But, yes, having morons coaching a flawed QB isn't going to result in much success.

Given the way it has been trending, the next coach will probably have him kicking, punting and playing FB.
