Or what about the fact that Shaq has 4 missed tackles this season and a 7.4% missed tackle percentage versus the 16 and 14.2% that Rozebum is rocking? In fact, Shaq would have the lowest missed tackle percentage of any ILB that has a minimum of 1 start on our roster.

I think they like pedigrees when the output also matches. I get the idea of liking a pedigree because you should expect the preparation for the NFL should be exceptional. To date, I have seen very little of that with Manning. If anything, he looks like he has been very protected from having to actually play at a high level until this past season. And the results were not good. I think grandpa let the cat out of the bag when he spoke out of turn. My guess is that the Manning clan also internally is very aware that he isn't anywhere near being ready for the NFL.

This is actually not true. Reference the following stats from NFL NGS for 20+ yard throws. 2023: 9 of 38 for 312 Yds, 0 TD, 0 INT. 61.29 QB Rating. 2.375 20+ attempts per Game. 2024: 16 of 43 for 493 Yds, 5 TD, 2 INT. 100.24 QB Rating. 3.58 20+ attempts per Game. 2025: 13 of 30 for 397 Yds, 6 TD, 3 INT. 90.28 QB Rating. 2.30 20+ attempt per Game. He is actually at career lows on shots downfield(20+ yards) per game. He has been less productive in that regard than in 2024, even with 1 less game played(so far).

It's funny but Old Man Rivers was a sidearm thrower. It's an outlier but I don't think it will keep him out of the NFL.....IF he actually develops. The fact he is this far behind in his development while being given every advantage possible is maybe one of the biggest red flags I have ever seen for a prospect. All I can say is that he better look like Mendoza in 2026.

It depends on what the 2027 Draft looks like, I suppose. There are some potentially good younger QB's in the mix(kid from Washington comes to mind) so I think it will depend on what the 2026 Browns look like and what that 2027 Draft Class looks like.

We would just be a substantially less talented Bengals. It's fun to dream but you would probably be looking at this roster being the at peak of its greatness right now, and it's easily a bottom 5 roster in the history of the franchise. I would imagine the draft capital we would have to give up would put us in a 3-5 year hole almost immediately. Plus, if I were Burrow, I would immediately retire if the idea of being traded here was on the table.

Ewers also has very little NFL ability at all. He's likely even less suited to the NFL than the absolutely atrocious Dillon Gabriel.

It's hard to know how much of that is accurate or still true. One would hope they wouldn't sign him to that mega deal if it were still really bad, but dumber things have happened before. I think you will see what the league's opinion is when he is on the block and/or released. Will he get Justin Fields 1.0 treatment or will he have a lot of suitors lined up to talk?

I expect Ewers to extend the list of starting QB's that are worse than Bryce. I don't like that at all. It's just more ammo for the Forever Brycers inside our franchise.

The Refs Union is actually the most powerful in the NFL sphere. Until there is a little more accountability from that side of the aisle, this type of thing will get worse.

I think Shaq was also one of the last few remnants from the Rivera locker room culture. TBH, he didn't fit for that reason alone. We have wanted to stamp out that stuff almost since day one.

And he is also sub-30. He isn't that far removed from being considered a borderline top 10 QB. I actually think he will be a relatively hot commodity BUT with the caveat that his potential suitors are not going to want to tote him at his current contract level. Those mega contracts for Tua and Kyler may force them to be released first. You have to be willing to take a bigger financial gamble on a trade. Plus, we have no idea what the asking prices would be.

Now he is in line to get an extension in Buffalo. I understand why we moved on but in hindsight we royally fuged that situation up. We made a massive downgrade.

I think Murray will draw significantly more interest because he doesn't have the injury worries that Tua always will have. But, I wouldn't be shocked to see a trade for both because I think this will be a more QB needy offseason than normal. There are several playoff caliber teams that are going to be in need of QB stability.
