Brown is easily the worst top 10 pick we have made since Tim Biakabutuka.

If he is accurate, that decision pretty much negates taking Eknowu at 6. It's that bad of a choice. I mean....you absolutely take a first(or probably second) round pick for Brown.

I like Walterfootball for sources but I have a hard time believing this happened. I am not seeing any scenario in which we don't take a first round pick for Brown. He has been a huge bust.

49-0 so far. I am not sure I have ever seen such universal approval of a draft pick. Wow. Shows how long the fans have been wanting an investment in LT though.

Breer only mocked two QB's in the first round recently and they were late picks(nailed the Steelers taking Pickett). I do think he is on to something there.

It really is. The poll shows that, as well. I will say that I fully expected them to fug that pick up and they somehow didn't.

Oh yeah. If anyone deserves success in this QB class, it is Willis. I hope he is able to stick in the NFL for a while and become financially secure. Can't say I ever see him being a regular NFL starter but if he works really hard, it could happen. The skills are there, no questions about that.

He just has too much to correct in his throwing mechanics and came from a very rudimentary offense. Those are tough things to overcome individually much less together. Probably has the second or third highest ceiling in the class(behind Willis and maybe Corral) but his floor is very low.

Pickett is Dalton-esque but he was one of basically two guys in this class I could see being actual NFL starters. The rest are backups or XFL guys.

I think that the story is already written on Rhule. To think we outbid ourselves on him when the Giants balked. Tepper really is the dumbest owner in the NFL.

Anyone with a brain could see it. I loled regularly at our Huddle armchair QB experts that were fooled by this class. As predicted, the league showed what they thought of this class. It is historically bad.

He isn't even capable of being a successful NFL positional coach. He is not NFL material. You cannot BS your way through being an NFL coach like you can in college.

I remember seeing an interview with him a few months ago and he was asked about how much he enjoyed pancaking people and who he specifically remembered dominating. He gave a diplomatic answer(basically he wasn't going to name names) but you could see him light up thinking about destroying opponents. That is something we have lacked since Norwell left. A dude that just craves violently dominating the guy in front of him.

Agreed. Howell gives me Will Grier vibes but in hindsight I kind of wish we still had Grier over PJ Walker. Upgrading PJ should be pretty achievable with the QB's left on the board.

I have zero belief in Howell but I'd get rid of Robby in a heartbeat for him.

He was still agile here but he was getting ragdolled. IMO, he just wasn't used the same way as he was in Denver. He didn't really get worse as much as he wasn't set up for success here. Which is why I am not getting my hopes up for Bozeman. TBD if he is actually any good.

I hope he is the LT of the future for us but I agree that his floor SHOULD still be an elite OG. It's nice to have that.
