  1. The biggest thing in Texas is their mouth breathing residents egos. It's pretty insufferable. Beautiful state filled with highly annoying people.
  2. Stafford is an elite QB and was an elite QB. Carr isn't the talent that Stafford is. However, Carr is DRAMATICALLY underappreciated for how good he is. 100% by the fans and often by the bobbleheads, as well. They will jerk off over the Mayfield's, Murray's and Garoppolo's but will ignore Carr. He is better than all those guys.
  3. That would be hilarious. End up having no 2nd or 3rd round picks for a second straight season.
  4. If he becomes Derek Carr, that was a mammoth pick. Derek Carr might not be an elite guy but he is a good NFL QB.
  5. Not sure you are terribly familiar with our head coach. The guy well known for micromanagement.
  6. Before we get all excited about our projected OL, please keep in mind that the guy making the decisions on who starts is the one that willingly started Pat Elflien and Cam Erving for most of last season. I know he has more football knowledgeable people in the building now but he may not listen to them. We hope he does, but that remains to be seen.
  7. Don't bother trying to explain it. At this point, if people can't see it they are doing so willingly. You can talk all you want but it's almost impossible to be heard by someone with their head in the sand.
  8. NDSU is Alabama-esque at their level. That happens a lot there.
  9. Need to bang in this PP goal early and put them down again.
  10. Gotta go with the picks, even if the vets are better. The cost/benefit works so dramatically in our favor if even one of the two draft guys works out.
  11. The Seahawks faith in Drew Lock is one of the most wildly insane thingsI have seen in the NFL. I love Pete Carroll but he is pure mush on this take.
  12. Lol. I saw him up close in person as a college player so I can't as easily discount his success. Now, has he succeeded my expectations? For sure.
  13. Yeah, those are two guys that not many seemed to want even after they had success as AC's or coordinators. I kind of get it with McAdoo because of how badly he performed as a HC but I always sort of felt like Wilks got a raw deal. Either way, glad to have actual NFL experienced coaches on the staff for a change.
  14. The penalty for whiffing on Corral is relatively small. The "desperation" penalty for Baker is much more. I say this as a guy that supported a Baker 1 year deal.
  15. @ellisTequila aside, you are dramatically underappreciated for your content. Thanks for more great stuff.
  16. I really liked Baker on a one year, cheap deal but Corral is so much cheaper. Baker might be a much better player but the penalty for missing on Corral is basically next to nothing. Much smarter move, even if I hated the 3rd round pick trade.
  17. It's pretty amazing how poorly they played their hand. If they pay 60+% of his salary, aren't they coming out ahead? They really read the room wrong.
  18. Pretty sure this was already reported elsewhere(maybe 4 Man Rush). Apparently they pissed off Fitt during the draft and he played hardball.
  19. Well we did start 3-0 last year, so I am not gonna be jumping on the bandwagon that quickly based on recent history. It isn't a risk to not sign the guy. He has never proved to be a huge difference maker in his career. He's a pretty good player at his position but not great and certainly not elite. If we sign him, great. If we don't, whatever. I don't think his addition or subtraction is going to be something that makes or breaks this franchise
  20. I highly doubt I will remember this specific thread but I will remember if I am right or wrong. I have hit on quite a few prospects but I still remember my huge whiffs too. Cam Newton being one.
  21. It's hard for me to ever jump on the "can't miss" bandwagon for an NFL prospect. I think I just held the talent around him and the one year wonder thing too much against him, versus evaluating him on his traits fairly. I will say I thought his intangibles were maybe the best I have seen since probably Russell Wilson.
