  1. Rhule also has a history of micromanagement, so I can't really sign off on any of the coaching hires either. We will see what happens.
  2. Might be asking a lot of a late round rookie to start at LG right away. I would say don't overlook some of the vets like Michael Jordan or Pat Elflein. I think those two guard spots aren't exactly locked in. Well, they shouldn't be anyway. I definitely don't want a replay of 2021 where we see spots basically gifted to the overpaid FA scrubs we signed.
  3. Well we were supposedly "serious" last year with Erving and Elflein too. I like the Corbett and Bozeman signings a lot more. I like that we finally invested in a LT in the first round. But.....the staff has worked very hard to get a QB as well, right? Arguably the hardest in the NFL. What has been the net result so far? So, while I want to get excited about the OL, I have completely lost faith in the ability of our franchise to consistently make intelligent decisions on personnel. At this point this is what their persistent failings have reduced my opinion to. I gotta see these guys do it on the field first. I need to see some cohesive OL play. I need actual results before I get optimistic about it. They lost all benefit of the doubt.
  4. Yeah, there are plenty of professional athletes who aren't passionate about the sports they play.
  5. Robby doesn't strike me as a highly motivated player. Not that I don't think he doesn't put work in but I don't think he is out there working to be the best at his position every offseason.
  6. Oh boy.....I think we better not start counting those chickens yet. I remember boatloads of Huddlers trying to justify why Cam Erving and Pat Elflein were good signings. That was a fuging disaster.
  7. You mean when they drafted an athletic guy who had almost exclusively played LT in college? Then told everyone he was a LG? Then found out he isn't powerful enough to be am effective OG? Then found out he is a project at LT? The truth is, Brady looks and plays like a career backup OL. So, really, if they keep him as a versatile backup and try to develop him over time, that's the best thing we can do with him. If he works out as a starter or backup C, maybe we can cut a guy like Elflein if he doesn't look capable of beating out someone for a starting spot? Who knows.
  8. I am amazed that people care about him not showing up for OTA's. Be upset about when he didn't show up for 17 straight games in 2021.
  9. Makes me think he will definitely be a backup this season. The "versatility" thing is good for reserve OL, especially given roster limitations. Or we plan on jettisoning one of the guys we have that can play center(Bozeman/Elflein).
  10. Yeah and his attempts to get a new stadium may end up being the price he has to pay, who knows? I know that I would be sad to see him go. It's been nice watching him completely deconstruct that team. Redskins support in NC is getting less and less by the season.
  11. That is legitimately a dream scenario. If we could jettison Darnold for Baker Mayfield, that would be amazing. You get a better QB on just a cheap one year deal and if he doesn't pan out, just move on to the next guy in 2023. I'd rather watch a gamble on Baker Mayfield than one more snap of Sam Darnold.
  12. Yeah, that's another thing....... It's fine to say you want to be a road grading, run it down your throat offense but name the amount of teams in the NFL that have great success with that strategy. Regardless of our running proficiency, we will need some competent QB play.
  13. Yeah but that ties back into exactly what I am saying. All it took was Snow telling Rhule that he looked like Stafford and it was off to the races. So will McAdoo have that kind of influence on Rhule or will it just be whatever person talked to him last? It seems like with the commenta Rhule has made that he isn't exactly an expert on prospect evaluation. So it's going to come down to those around him that he listens to. Obviously, last time it was Phil Snow. Who was it this past time? McAdoo? Fitterer? Some homeless guy that showed him some YouTube videos?
  14. Then that basically means Snyder will still own the team. Her decisions will be his decisions. The only penalty is that he has to use her as a mouthpiece for what he wants done. The difference is that the owners may decide to vote him out. I don't think that would be symbolic, if it happened. He would be out, his wife included. It will be interesting to see what happens. I suspect if he gets booted by the other owners, it will be because his stealing from the league may be more than was being reported. I doubt that will sit well with the other owners.
  15. Plus he is one of the very few owners that is worse than Tepper. Shorter distance between us and the cellar if he leaves and they get competent ownership.
  16. I'd do that in a heartbeat. Baker may not be good but he's way fuging better than Darnold.
  17. Lol....if they do decide to jettison Dan Snyder they are not gonna take his fuging wife as the new owner. That is as big of a joke as her current title. The team would likely be put up for sale, like the Panthers were. And at the end of the day Snyder's "penalty" will be being booted out with a metric fugload of cash, like Richardson was. There will never be a day that this billionaires club will rob another billionaire of his rightful billions. That devalues NFL ownership and is a net negative for all of them.
  18. Not always but I take what they say with a grain of salt. Hard to know what is attempting to control the narrative and what is actual fact. Also not sure how much input McAdoo has in our draft board. Then again, Phil Snow was largely responsible for Sam Darnold, so who knows what random voice causes a decision in our organization these days.
  19. Consider that the team is likely to claim they had Corral ranked higher than they actually did. Not uncommon. Hence why you should basically always ignore what a team "claims" they had a player ranked/rated. It's almost always BS.
  20. 7 year, $38 mil/year fully guaranteed deal. #Rhulemagic
  21. I mean, given how bad Sam is on the team I root for, it would probably just be awkward. Like, genuinely what would we talk about?
  22. The Sam needs a good OL crowd is just willfully ignorant. Not even he believes he is capable of being an NFL starting QB anymore.
  23. I'll pass. Sam Darnold would probably extremely awkward and hubby would probably having to manage a mental health crisis.
