I think Richardson was the most egregious in recent memory. He was so clearly nowhere near an NFL caliber QB. I will never understand how anyone could be fooled by that guy.

His career 1.06 INT's a game would suggest otherwise. 5 dumb passes a game is very kind. TBH, it's probably closer to 15-20% of his overall passes are dumb or ill advised. It's just who he is. I still don't agree with this philosophy. The "I THROW BALL COACH! I DO GOOD!" QB's are just not what I view as a long term solution nor a winning strategy. I can understand the want to move on from whatever Bryce is doing, believe me, I am in complete agreement on that. I just don't view a potential increase in TO's to be worth the trouble. Also, I don't think this Canales offense is one that guys like Winston/Howell are really going to shine the best way that they can.

Yeah, I mean a decent chunk of those are actually still downgrades from Shell Of Dalton. If we draft a QB and then maybe sign one of those reclaimation projects....maaaaaybe it's not the worst idea. But those guys as a Bryce safety net are scary as hell.

I don't think it is as dire as that. There is certainly some NFL chatter that QB's are less prepared than before(several reasons given). I am less inclined to believe that than I believe the NFL just has less overall impulse control with QB's. Similar to the NBA pre-age limit. No one made these idiots overdraft 18 year old HS players, they just did it.

This list seems to be lacking any look at contract structures. I would suggest browsing OTC for a bit. Some of these will immediately change from possible to absolutely impossible.

He was terrible to start last year, he had a hell of a streak and then he got injured and never has really produced much since. At this point, the good games appear to be the outlier. Evans has popped immediately and looks to potentially be our best TE on the roster. Give him more reps. Could backfire but what are we losing by reducing Sanders snaps?

I don't care about college production. Watch him in the NFL. There were a boatload of reasons the Lions(also a great talent evaluation franchise) pivoted quickly from a highly drafted guy. He is not an NFL player. At all.

Fair. That's really an arm comp and "game manager" label. Pennington was a more accurate passer(career 66% passer) and a more efficient passer.

Agreed. He is far from perfect but he is finally what we were looking for. A legit #1 NFL WR. The trash heap recently is filled with failed Panther WR's(XL, Mingo, TMJ, etc).
