If you were GM, how would you use our that first pick in round 2?
kungfoodude replied to SCO96's topic in Carolina Panthers
QB is not the right move. This team is very talent deficient. We have to figure out an identity(we have none now) and build a roster for that. There is no position on the team that doesn't need help. BPA should basically be all we are interested in. The biggest problem is the FO and owner. We need competent people making these decisions and that isn't happening. -
Yeah he made his statement and then put it on cruise control. Other teams are watching too. I don't think they are super impressed.

This is really an inarguable point.

I agree. We have seen this story before. Ain't nothing changed

He wants top 5 money but the reality is he is a top 15 player.

That would be about right. Who would fuging blame him at this point? We had our opportunity to get a haul, almost any GM in the NFL instantly make that trade. But....not ours.

I’m about 78% sure Kellen Moore will be the next head coach

Yeah and I think he will specifically not want this one. Who would? I am guessing he just waits on an offer at a decent place. He may not even take a job this cycle. Depends on what is available. -
Him coming off IR and possibly not even being 100% was a joke anyway. They are trying to salvage his season for no reason. Should have just kept him on ice. What does it matter?

I will wager that Johnson skips the interview again. -
Oh it's getting worse and worse. I am arguing that Dalton isn't likely to make a huge turnaround. I still have wanted Dalton for the past few weeks. What is the sense in continuing this? To completely nuke the confidence of the guy you traded all this draft capital for? Just to attempt to prove you are the smartest guy in the room? #TepperMagic

I am not sure he amplifies it enough to really matter. That's my point. Hence my argument against the "SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARTING DALTON ALL YEAR" guys. He played for us and he looked a lot better.........we still lost. That's my point. I think it would ultimately be just "better looking losing" more than drastically more success.
