  1. I'd say there is a better chance of Jordan starting than Brown. I wouldn't be stunned if Brown ultimately gets cut this offseason.
  2. I am prepared. Once we retained Rhule, I suspected it was going to be a bad run. If we start Corral or trade for Baker/Jimmy G, I will at least have some good reasons to watch, even with low expectations. But if they trot out Darnold again....my interest in watching is going to be pretty low.
  3. If I am only paying half or less of his salary....5th rounder max.
  4. Well, there is one caveat there. Sam has already looked good/okay in camps before. He has done it here and in NY. What can't be ignored is the 4 straight seasons of that not translating to real games. That is honestly why starting Corral makes more sense, even if Sam looks a little better at the time. Sam is a known quantity. He isn't going to be better. Corral might actually get better.
  5. I would imagine the excuses are going to start to get pretty old after three straight losing seasons. Tepper might be dumb but I don't think he is dumb enough to accept that. If a rookie QB is starting in year three and struggling for you, my question is probably gonna be, "Well why didn't we do this in year one if you needed more time to develop a rookie?" Plus, if Tepper can't read the tea leaves as elite QB after elite QB chooses not to come here......I really don't know what to say.
  6. Early Ian Rappaport vibes. Just an unfiltered, unverified stream of whatever is heard. Rumor, innuendo, scuttlebutt, etc.
  7. Yeah, that is the hope. I HOPE this coach is much better. I HOPE we see a big improvement on the OL. I will be paying a LOT of attention to TC and the preseason to see if we can get this lineup figured out. I am nervous we are gonna see more shuffling.
  8. To be fair we did spent an entire season of playing OL roulette at almost every position on the OL. If we want to build some chemistry, there also has to be continuity. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if we keep seeing guys shifting around constantly next season, it's going to be as big of a shitshow on OL as it was last year. They gotta figure this poo out in the offseason and not be holding an 18 week tryout.
  9. I have long suspected that @TheSpecialJuan is @Zod's illegitimate son. So, I guess Happy Father's Day.
  10. Yeah, he's pretty generic in that regard. Product of the modern age.
  11. It's fun to play, as well, but it is fuging boring as poo on TV.
  12. I disagree. Even when you get disappointed, it's hard to trade those highs from believing all offseason that this is the year. Man, I miss that poo. You know what's funny, I remember those offseasons even more than say, the 2015 regular season. When we were marching through the season undefeated, it was hard to get too high because it was insanely surreal. It didn't even feel like it was real.
  13. Please don't jinx us. You have no idea how similar to the 1999-2017 Browns we are tracking at the moment.
  14. I remember better times when the offseason wasn't about who sucked but how we were about to crush everyone and win it all. Boy.....I miss those days.
  15. I'm pretty sure both parties are well aware that he isn't playing another down for them.
  16. It just seemed like a fairly unnecessary dick ride of the guy. He doesn't bother me personally. He's just a Jim Rome rip off for the most part, IMO. Maybe some Stephen A. Smith/Skip Bayless whipped in. He is pretty far from original. Fairly cookie cutter, IMO. I don't see why people really like him over the 25 other different versions of him on the national sports talk guys.
  17. I mean....read your post and replace Pat Anti-Virus's name with Tepper. That is basically Sizzle.
  18. The national sports media outlets would literally be jerking off all over themselves for that storyline. We might be the feature game for the week if that does happen.
