I think the ceiling probably moved from 2-5 wins to something around 4-8 wins. That's not nothing, in fairness.

1. Basically indicates you have some personal gripe and kind of nullifies what you say after, valid or otherwise.

Traits are great but can you play? I care about that. If he can't show it in TC AND the preseason then he is just a developmental guy with little chance of being a star player. He needs to be on the bench if he can't beat Mayfield and ESPECIALLY if he can't beat Darnold.
-
Most just people high on hopium or copium. Corral is an insanely wild long shot to be successful. But, I'll take his chances of being successful over Sam Darnold. That was a no-brainer choice. Anyone legitimately upset over Mayfield taking reps from Corral is just being ridiculous. If Corral is good enough, no one should worry about Baker Mayfield.
-
I am happy with it because 2/3 of the QB's on our roster(definitely assuming PJ is a goner) I can stomach watching play, even if they aren't world beaters. With Baker or Corral, there is at least some hope of watching something better than the worst QB play in the NFL. We just have to hope Rhule isn't dumb enough to still start Darnold.

Went from a 2 to a 5. I finally have something to watch. 2 of our 3 QB's at least can provide some level of hope. Might be foolish hope but hope nonetheless.

I say the new punter. I think he gets back to near Pro Bowl form. Ideally Corral but that seems unlikely. Horn and Chinn are good candidates. Maybe Tremble.

Most Underrated Player on Every NFL Team

He gets himself in bad positions way too often, IMO. But, he has this year to figure it out. Hopefully he really jumps up to the next level and shows that he is a top 10 caliber pick. -
Most Underrated Player on Every NFL Team

They had just about as easy of a path through Brown. He was supposed to be a disciplined run support guy but he has been anything but that. Need him to put it all together this season. -
Most Underrated Player on Every NFL Team

I think they were going with "underrated league wide" hence why they chose Moton. Shaq is a solid choice but he wouldn't make a ton of radars in the league, IMO. Horn and Brown are just goofy. Horn played about 10 seconds and Brown has largely been a disappointment. -

That didn't include Moton, who doesn't get the acclaim he deserves in part because of the poor quality of play around him. Moton's 1.7% blown block rate was both a career high and eighth best among qualified tackles last season. He's a punishing power run blocker who never comes off the field. There's only so much one good lineman can do, so hopefully Carolina's offensive revamp will let Moton show more of his stuff in 2022.

Predictions: Biggest Leap/Biggest Fall
kungfoodude replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
1. Horn. Kind of cheating since he didn't play much last season. 2. Brian Burns. With no real other pass rush threats on the roster, Burns gets all the offensive blocking attention and has a career low sack total. Maybe not a product of Burns himself falling off as much as him not having almost any other elite DL help. -
I mean... there is a chance that tomorrow you will wake up to a billion dollars in cash in your house too. That's about the same chance as what was described in that post. Both could easily be confused for a fever dream.

Read that again but use your brain this time or maybe read the original comment from RumHam if that helps. Unlikely but try anyway.

I mean.....they still haven't fired a round if they are thinking of pulling the trigger. I think these rumors will persist until basically day one of training camp. Then they will pick back up until the end of the trade deadline. It is what it is. This is bound to happen to any team with QB struggles.

There is less than 0.0001% of that happening at the moment. -
Sheena Quick on Baker Mayfield to Panthers trade

Remember when we were the only bidder for Sam Darnold? That only works if you don't do something stupid. -

Indefinite would be an interesting twist. I still personally believe it will be only a season. -
Why can't they do this with NFL stadiums?
kungfoodude replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
That has changed dramatically. Hence why a lot of cities aren't trying to be considered for the Olympics. The bang for the buck is very low. -
TBD. You never know with this crowd.

Cowturd also famously hates Mayfield.
