I think that's a big problem with a lot of people that get far too caught up in religiosity(not wholly blaming this, BTW). Their "niceness" seems disingenuous and typically is. Have met a bunch of these types over the years. Usually they have things bubbling under the surface, although some are quite genuine.

The variables are too many to even say what our scenario will be next year. Could have a new head coach, almost definitely will have a new OC, could have a top 5 draft pick, will almost definitely have to sign a FA QB, etc, etc. We might be starting a re-tread or a freshly drafted 2023 prospect. Who can say at this point? The answer isn't on the roster, that has been pretty conclusively determined.

I think it's pretty early to be calling White a "keeper." Was Kyle Allen a keeper?

I wouldn't fret too much, if you look at the remaining schedule, our spot in the top 8 should be a safe bet. I could see us as high as third.

Yeah, I don't think we are gonna agree on that. You can even hear the announcers call out how it was nearly a pick because of his double clutch. This is also something he had done a LOT in his career resulting in INT's. This isn't at all an isolated case.

It was the double clutch that almost caused the pick. Had he not done that, it is probably a completion. He didn't freeze Surtain, Surtain broke on the ball perfectly.

College football is fuging awful. You will never see a worse example of lack of parity and lack of fairness than college football. There is no comparison to the NFL.

His fumble was a TD. He recovered it and rolled in the end zone. Pretty epic, TBH. Great awareness by him to snag it and realize he hadn't been touched.

Lol and he tried hard with that double clutch staredown and fumble on the run. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. He did have a couple of nice throws, though. He managed to not fug it up for a dominant running and defensive performance. All in all, as successful as we can hope for from him.

He didn't play well enough to have much of a fall. You can wish in one hand and poo in another but the fact is that Sam Darnold won't be our QB next season and it's extremely unlikely he is on this roster at all. May as well just watch the rest of the season play out and not get too emotionally invested in our struggles or successes. It's going to be a wild offseason, I suspect.

If you really want to channel some emotion properly, remember that Matt Rhule tried to cut this dude for no fuging reason whatsoever.

No one with any sense believes in Sam Darnold, including the Panthers. The playcalling told that story all game long. Glad he didn't screw it up against the worst team we will face all season. Especially one that every Panthers fan should hate with a passion.

He is gonna be the new Matt Moore. We'll hear about this bum for years after he is in NFL obscurity.

We are about as likely to finish in the top 5 of the draft as we are to back into the playoffs.

Hell, we are already up to 7th with those three still playing.

Also, if the Raiders, Rams and/or Steelers win....we shoot right back up the draft order. Keep in mind the only team that we can't catch is probably the Texans. We have the lowest SOS, so we have the tiebreaker with anyone.
