My guess is that they both end up at LT. One will be riding the pine, while some turnstile will be at LG.

Matt Corral just offered to be the best man in my wedding and I am not even engaged. This guy is a gem.

Why Fitterer is ‘the man’ look at the value signing of DJ Moore
kungfoodude replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair, it's hard to judge payment AFTER production. That's like saying CMC has been a killer deal for us. I love DJ but he will still have to live up to his current contract. That's a future thing. not a past thing. -
I see Sam to the Rams possibly in the near future...

Yeah, McVay already got insanely frustrated with a far better version of Darnold. -
I would still rather the reps be split between Corral and Mayfield but after Corral's own comments I tend to agree. His skill set seems to be suited to what we are doing but he needs some seasoning.

I was told he was the best player in this draft. Then he worked out and most of those voices got quiet.

The NFL will likely appeal just simply because the optics look better for them. Then they can point to the female arbitrator and say, "Well she said this was what it is!" Convenient scapegoat for an organization that in reality would rather Watson paid them all to STFU and this never come to light at all.

We lament that rich and powerful men( mostly white in the US) often get away with things in this part of the world but this isn't a uniquely male nor uniquely white issue. It's a powerful person issue that spans the recorded history of humanity. Rich and powerful Saudis get away with the same things in Saudi Arabia. Rich and powerful Chinese get away with similar in China. Rich and powerful Nigerians get away with similar in Nigeria. The problem is certainly less specific that people want to make it. It's a fundamentally human trait for the rich and powerful to mold the rules to their benefit. So when a man with money and power(like Deshaun Watson) gets into trouble and is backed by men with even more money and more power......how did you think this was going to end? It would be different had Watson lost his NFL supporters. They'd have hung him out to dry and he would have been out like Kaepernick was out. But he didn't do anything that those other rich and powerful men thought was a "red line" that couldn't be crossed. It didn't(and won't) threaten their bottom line.

Well, you have the raging mob that wants a lifetime ban(which was never realistic given that the NFLPA wouldn't allow that) and then the people that just want their specific version of justice to be carried out. It was never going to be that way. It's went to arbitration and the result was the result. There is really no use getting spun up about it. Not a single person knows any of the full picture and we don't know if that process was carried out fairly or not. It quite literally just is what it is.

Panthers pick up JAG perpetually hurt corner
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Come on, it's basically a meme at this point. I actually enjoy seeing what goofy BS title he comes up with. Anyone that doesn't immediately know that it's gonna be a wildly inaccurate description of the player is just not paying attention. -
Indeed. If you are looking for fairness in the NFL(or most professional sports) you are going to be sorely disappointed. Better just get over it now or move on to another sport. I can promise you that if Watson resumes being an elite QB, in two years people will barely recall this. Reference any number of NFL players that continued their careers after incidents as bad or worse than Watson. It just is what it is.

You are arguing with a religious extremist. They don't care what you say, they just double down on their beliefs.
