  1. Hence why I said 5-6 years max. Honestly, let him be a pain in the ass if he is winning here. Restore some respectability and make this a good spot for the next coach. Hopefully tack on some division titles and maybe SB appearances.
  2. He was blackballed for his protests. He ended up being away so long because of his hubris and the length of time he was away from the game. I will always support Colin's right to protest the way he did. I will always think he is a mediocre QB and a whiny bitch as a player.
  3. That does fit the personality. Admittedly, that is why I am not sure Tepper is gonna be the best fit. They both seem to have some pretty massive egos. That sounds like a lot of clashes waiting to happen. He is obviously the best coach but the personality conflict element with our specific owner could be an issue.
  4. Or maybe you just have no idea what you are talking about? It wouldn't be the first time. We both know that.
  5. Yeah and no one still knows them as USC or Carolina. Because both of those other schools have much more of a brand than South Carolina. It might hurt to hear this but it's true. I know because I travel the country and I talk to everyone about sports.
  6. Yeah, but one of those is wildly more traumatic. Like watching someone blow their brains out in front of you. I do agree with his general point. I don't think these players are so traumatized they are incapable of playing. That's why some of these suggestions in here have been so laughable.
  7. Wrong. I can go to 49 of 50 states and ask what college USC is and they will say "University of Southern California." Same with "Carolina." I can go to 49 of 50 states and ask what college is "Carolina" and I am gonna hear North Carolina. The only thing that people know SC by is the "Cocks."
  8. Sounds like someone who has never looked at his almost 3:1 TD:INT ratio in his career.
  9. Yeah, remember that .700 winning percentage that Harbaugh had? Doesn't sound like a bunch of disgruntled players laying down, now does it?
  10. I mean....I think the choice is that or unemployment. As much as you heard some players bitching, it never tanked their teams enough to not win 10+ games. If players complain their way to that kind of record, I hope our players constantly complain.
  11. Yeah, I get that but all joking aside, I doubt he accepts that. If he does.....yikes.
  12. Minshew is better than Darnold, IMO. Not as talented but takes much better care of the ball, so he would be an option. https://overthecap.com/free-agency There are actually a lot of game managing type QB's that are better than Darnold that should be available. No one that is going to blow your socks off or become the franchise(save maybe Carr or Jackson). Garoppolo may be available so he would probably be the most premium option realistically available but at his price you may as well go after Carr. Then you have a group of game managing QB's like Minshew, Bridgewater, Brissett, etc. A few cheaper, younger higher talent gambles mixed in. Overall, there will be options available but nome of them particularly stellar outside of Carr or Jackson.
  13. I don't think he is likely to accept a demotion.
  14. Yeah, that is a mid to late first type of move. The top end of that position has extreme value but it's too rare to get those type of players. Not a premium value position unless it is a truly elite player.
  15. That is really gonna be an issue with any of the non-offensive guru candidates, TBH. What almost no candidate has is the established track record of success that Harbaugh does.
  16. I think once we won a ring I would finally accept it. Basically everything before that I would hate his fuging guts, the way I do now.
  17. Cancel an entire week of games??? Lol. I didn't think there would be a less likely scenario than moving the entire playoff schedule but you found one. So you think a multi-billion dollar industry is just going to willingly give up(using some figures from 2020) roughly half a billion dollars in revenue?
  18. Ugh.....I would hate to have to accept that. Thankfully it is very unlikely.
  19. Yeah, Tomlin does have the advantage of being on the most stable franchise in NFL history but he has clearly proved to be one of the best coaches in the NFL.
