  1. Yeah, I don't envision Wilks being able to dig his way out of this hole. Not unless he has some pretty amazing offensive staff plans up his sleeve. TBH, I doubt he has the connections to be able to pull off that miracle.
  2. If we get an offensive coach, I suspect Tepper's bitching about trading away picks will disappear if we get a top QB prospect in this draft. Until his next press conference about firing a GM.
  3. - We hire an offensive head coach(finally). - We move up in the draft to get a QB. - We aren't able to sign Brian Burns to a contract extension prior to the season. - We sign a starting caliber veteran QB in free agency. - We don't improve our kick returners. - Shaq Thompson gets restructured. - Huddle will spaz out at least twice a week for the entire coaching search period, free agency period, draft period and pre-training camp period.
  4. Shhh.....you'll summon the Darn-tards.
  5. I like the pool of candidates so far. Obviously heavy on offensive guys, so that should tell everyone where this is likely headed.
  6. Yeah, and that is part of why I wouldn't want to waste a pick on a very high potential bust guy like Richardson. By the time he might be ready it is probably a very different looking roster. If we have a good veteran option ready, perhaps it makes more sense. But if you go with someone like Carr, that makes Richardson completely unnecessary. He just doesn't seem like a guy that fits for our CURRENT position. Maybe that changes this offseason.
  7. I have less and less faith football people will be involved in this. Maybe Tepper's barber will weigh in as well. Probably about as useful as Nicole or Marty Hurney, maybe more.
  8. Because we literally don't have another option. Unless we want to join the Carr/Garoppolo/etc sweepstakes. But, if so, why bother with Richardson?
  9. If not more than a year. We aren't in a position to be that patient with him. He is really best suited to going to a team with an established and possibly aging starter that you expect to retire or be gone in the next 2-3 seasons.
  10. If he drops to second round, he is a guy you run to the podium to get. In the first.....that's dicey. In the top ten, that's the pick that will likely sign your exit papers as a GM.
  11. That's a pick that either makes or breaks a new head coach and/or GM in our franchise QB situation. Probably makes a lot more sense to trade up if you are that QB desperate.
  12. Feel free to point out the Luke Keuchly in this draft.
  13. I didn't watch any of Howell, so I have no basis for any comparison other than a box score. If he gets to play some meaningful football next season then perhaps we will have some idea about his NFL future. Usage rate looks a little Darnold-esque.
  14. Well the biggest indictment of the QBR system is that ESPN box scores don't use QBR, they use QB Rating. It's their propriety system, for that matter.
  15. Rodgers technically had a higher QB Rating.
  16. Outside of the Cowboys and Bucs, I don't hate any of the current teams in. I can just enjoy good football and not really root for anyone.
  17. 9th isn't a great spot. Trade up or trade down depending on what is available.
  18. This might be one of the most intriguing offseasons for us in franchise history.
  19. Eh....I hear you but those aren't 1:1 scenarios. Needless to say, no one should be comparing those two.
  20. Maybe. We really aren't gonna have any idea until we know the HC and OC. This might be one of the most interesting offseasons in franchise history.
