I am not sure about Caleb or Drake. They literally tick all the boxes for everything you could want physically but Caleb didn't do better than last year and as @LinvilleGorge pointed out earlier, he has a bad tendency to play hero ball. That MIGHT work out IF he is indeed elite. If not.....ooof. Maye I have concerns about because as both of his seasons went on he basically got worse and worse. That's not a great tendency. Also, the offense he ran was very Mickey Mouse by NFL standards, so his learning curver might be higher than normal. Daniels I like just because he seems to have an "it" factor a little more than the other two. We will see how it all plays out.

Mark my words, Daniels will be the best of the 1st round QB's....

Eagles attempted to trade for Brown in 2022

Yeah, it's been almost universal that the fanbase wants he and Luvu to get paid. I think this dude is a Burns simp, so he's just sour that people see through that situation. -
Eagles attempted to trade for Brown in 2022

I don’t think that will happen with Brown. He is one of the best interior distruptors in the NFL. He deserves to be paid as such. -
I understand some are skeptical of the source but their rumor articles have actually been quite accurate over time. https://walterfootball.com/nfl-hot-press-eagles-offered-first-round-pick-for-derrick-brown-in-22.php Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been among the most active executives in the NFL in working the trade market. In back-to-back drafts, Roseman traded up to land a defensive tackle from Georgia. Last year in the days before the draft, I reported that the Eagles wanted to do a slight move up for Jalen Carter, and that is what they did on draft night. The year before they moved up for Jordan Davis. Interestingly, prior to moving up for Davis, the Eagles had their eye on a similar freaky athlete defensive tackle. Per sources, prior to the 2022 NFL Draft, the Eagles offered the Carolina Panthers a first-round pick for Derrick Brown. The Eagles had decisions on getting better in the trenches, and Brown certainly would have helped there. After being the seventh-overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Brown has turned into an excellent interior defensive lineman. Then Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer turned down the offer. Brown was viewed as one of Carolina’s long-term building blocks, and new general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales will have to decide if the organization is going to sign Brown to a long-term extension. After not getting the Panthers to trade Brown to them, the Eagles set themselves up with the Bulldogs duo of Davis and Carter, which should work for many years to come. Carolina is faced with some huge decisions now on paying Brown as well as a difficult situation regarding defensive end Brian Burns. The Panthers have to decide to extend, franchise tag, or tag-and-trade Burns over the next few days. Every year, there are many trades that are turned down, and the Eagles getting turned down for Brown has left a big impact on both franchises.

Much ado about nothing. Still one of the best prospects in this draft. -
100%. He showed way more flashes in one year than Fields has in three. I don't buy into Howell but I can buy into the HOPE part. Fields....you got three years of him just not being able to get over the hump. Meanwhile you look at guys like Stroud, Cam, Mahomes, Watson, etc. Stars from the moment they saw the field. THAT is what a successful first round QB looks like in their rookie deal.
-
Literally the same reason people ars always interested in a QB on a rookie deal, they think they can salavage it. Remember Sam Darnold? How did that work out? I'll give you some homework, find me an underperforming top 10 QB that has ever been traded during their rookie deal and ever turned it around. Spoiler alert: You are gonna find out that this doesn't happen.
-
Yeah, we are generally in a slump.
-
I think it's probably the only way we will. They are just plain better in the 5 v. 5.
-
Letting them crowd the goal too often. Clean those fuging MFers out of there.
-
Not getting many calls recently.
-
This goalie just has our number. Not much we can do about it.
-
I mean, that is sort of reminiscent of all the nonsense about Peppers smiling on the sidelines while we were losing. I wouldn't read too much into that.
-
100%. No draft picks in the first two rounds. Those are likely to be top 10 for the next few years and we will need those to rebuild.
-
Icky seems to have lost his confidence entirely. I am not sure what to do about that. Maybe slide him inside to get re-adjusted to the NFL and playing downhill. Either way, our OL got worse across the board, so we need to shore that up and quickly.

The hindsight of that deal is unreal. The funny thing is we threaded the needle on an insane haul for CMC(won't see a RB trade like that in the next decade, I'll wager) then not only do we immediately squander the resources......we sign arguably the worst RB contract in the last 3-4 seasons. It's a microcosm of the Panthers under Tepper, for sure. The mistakes of the past repeated with new mistakes added in.
