Drafting Dillon Gabriel in the 3rd round was a foolish overdraft. Drafting Bryce Young 1st overall in a trade up will go down as one of the worst draft trades in NFL history. Small QB's get taken all the time, it's the wild overdrafting that is absurd.

Nix has had a ton of success but he is a system QB. He wouldn't be that successful everywhere.

Yeah, I agree. It's the first rounder thing. Gabriel is a worse version of Bryce without that advantage. His days are numbered

I am sure we would love his 124 yds/GM passing and his 24 yard career long passing. He is quite literally one of the only QB's in the NFL worse than Bryce. Same noodle arm.

Don't forget Josh Rosen. Immediately pivoted from that mistake. Also, Dart is not what I would call an NFL success. Lots of potential and skill level but TBD. He is significantly behind Young in most categories. He's quite atrocious.

Canales also has little experience with setting culture, either. Young or old, I have felt like Canales does not have strong culture established. Seems like more of a Mike McDaniels "buddy coach" like of guy. Minus all the offensive genius.

This is much ado about nothing. Sports gambling has existed in the US forever and it has legally existed outside the US for a significant portion of time. The reason these scandals are caught(again, this happens internationally) is because sports books combat this stuff so heavily and there is a ton of software specifically designed to ID this stuff. Sports betting and cheating has existed as long as organized sports. It's easier to ID when it's legal because it isn't masked by illegal enterprises.
