  1. We have zero players on this roster that a single NFL team would trade for that are on the cut line. That's a downside of having the worst roster in the league.
  2. BC wouldn't start there and Corbett is a massive injury risk. If they wanted BC, they literally could have signed him in free agency.
  3. Corbett and BC are basically worth very little. That's one reason why I don't want to get involved in a trade if they want a lot of compensation. We have little in the way of valuable players, almost all of them we shouldn't be considering giving up. That leaves draft compensation carrying the weight if we don't give up a big player. Also something we shouldn't be giving up.
  4. I am considerably more worried about the picks than the players. We have very few players that are irreplaceable.
  5. Gabriel is not even PS worthy. Drafting him was insane.
  6. David Moore? He has no value to them. He isn't a tradeable asset. The rub is that he is going to want a big contract because it is likely his last chance. $20 mil is very unlikely to work. That's the real thing about all this, you have to be sure you can extend him or it was all for naught.
  7. I would say that is highly unlikely simply because it immediately hampers what they are trying to do with Bryce. We don't have a good replacement for him. BC is not a capable LT and Yosh is fuging terrible. I would think the player/players we gave up are likely veterans with limited value.
  8. Depends on the scenario. Could be us just doing a price check. I think it's also an acknowledgement that we currently have rotational/backup pass rushers as our starters.
  9. Hard to say. Hurney may have had more sway over Tepper than we think at that stage. Baker had also already had career success. He wasn't some "find." Geno I am sure he did help but a lot of that was just simply getting the opportunity again, I am sure.
  10. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/nfl/bengals/2025/08/17/trey-hendrickson-bengals-listen-to-trade-offers-defensive-end-sacks-leader-nfl-network-report/85285750007/
  11. I think the only way this would actually happen(highly doubt) is if we dramatically outbid all other takers.
  12. I can't recall many of our busts leaving here and succeeding. We have a big talent for accuracy on our bust players. When they fail, they fail big.
  13. I don't think he is an ideal fit for this defense. IIRC, he was playing out of position most of his Saints career.
  14. Remember that this goober of an owner also fell for Matt Rhule's BS.
  15. I don't understand the QB Whisperer thing. Geno perhaps but that's a wild outlier. Baker was already a good QB.
  16. It isn't going to happen and obviously fans would care. We don't want the team gone, we want him gone. You want to know what this looks like, see the Shinn Hornets. The fanbase never really recovered from that fiasco.
  17. Detroit's injuries last year were absolutely bananas.
  18. Yeah, given the track record we would have fuged up the draft anyway. It would have robbed Baker from Tampa which WOULD have aided us in that effort to be #1 in the division. Lots of factors would be different. Lots od dominoes that would have changed. It is what it is now. I don't think plopping down even a Josh Allen is going to make this team an immediate world beater. Probably more like an 8-9 win team.
  19. My prediction is that he gets canned and Capers is the interim sometime in the second half of the season.
  20. Probably not. If you plop Baker on this time right now, it's not exactly a sure thing we would be a playoff team.
  21. Scouting based on outliers is how we ended up being this bad, chief.
  22. I generally disagree. I think the other issues are making the QB play even worse. Regardless, we will see how it really is soon enough.
  23. I think the Mannings would basically maneuver away from us in some way, shape or form.
  24. Record is largely irrelevant. It's about what the actual team looks like. In this case, through two games the starters have been a mixed bag and the reserves have been mostly very bad, with a few notable exceptions. I care very little about being 0-2 in a meaningless preseason but us looking below average to significantly below average almost across the board is just plain bad. It's likely an indication that we aren't likely to start the season strong. That would be bad because the early part of the schedule appears to be very easy on paper.
