  1. Kochetkov is back this weekend, thankfully. Gotta rally. It sucks to have worked them that hard and not get a goal.
  2. Dammit. We are allowing too many easy opportunities in this last few minutes.
  3. This was an obvious move once he started to melt down. The people upset about it were just plain out of their minds.
  4. The reasonable part I think will be tough. IMO, I don't really think he is going to want to resign with us. He seems to be an "emotions on his sleeve" guy that really hates losing. That's not really going to be changing much before his contract will be up. If we want to keep him around it will have to be by tagging or overpaying, IMO.
  5. Yeah, taking shots at him after the best game of his career by a very substantial margin is just cringy. If you just hate the MFer just hate him and be honest about it. Don't cover it in some horseshit hot takes and weak insults.
  6. I mean, Jake was not a super strong armed QB. Above average at very best probably more average than above. Bryce I would say is slightly below average. Not massive differences between the two in arm strength.
  7. If they don't resign Darnold(they likely will not) he really only would have to beat out a rookie QB in JJ McCarthy. I don't think that's really a good scenario for Jones, IMO, however. But, being on a far better team with far better coaching would help tremendously.
  8. Most loved coaches under the Tepper era? That's possibly the biggest insult I have ever heard.
  9. I am not getting too amped up over this last performance. If he can do that in the remaining games, we have something to work with. If it's more up and down performances with more downs than ups, I am still on the "replacement train."
  10. I suspect he will be around due to price tag. Hopefully further from significant, non-special teams PT, however.
  11. That's not really true. He is a averaging 5.1 targets/GM which is the 2nd highest in his career(2023 - 5.17 targets/GM). He is also allowing the highest QB Rating in his career this year. 2024: 91.7 2023: 84.1 2022: 62.4 2021: 39.6 Technically, for pass coverage metrics this has almost universally been his worst year as a professional. I do think that's a little misleading, as our front seven is also the worst it has been in his career.
  12. I would say there are a lot of factors at play here. While it is wonderful that he has been healthy all year, it is also the outlier, technically. Additionally, in his very limited playing time he has largely had flashes of elite play but not consistently. It's hard to envision a scenario we don't extend him.....except if he wants a top 10 CB contract. That's going to be a tough pill to swallow.
  13. Yeah and although he is still a top 15 pass rusher, he just isn't going to ever be a truly elite guy.
  14. I liked him coming out of college but he is leaning bust.
  15. He is genuinely much closer to being a $10 mil pass rusher than a $30 mil pass rusher.
  16. He is probably here until the end of his rookie deal. He is quite cheap and although he is basically a lower tier JAG, we need some cheap personnel to fill out a roster.
  17. Gotta win in regulation or OT. We will get smoked in a shootout
  18. Hold on for 3 more minutes and then blast a fuging EN goal to put this bullet in ol yeller.
