  1. Then I would assume disingenuous. Why on earth would you consider this an "exciting" time to be a Panthers fan? Let me ask this, how old are you and how long have you been an NFL fan?
  2. An ESPN writer had a good breakdown of teams that were likely to come back to earth(KC and Redskins were two of them) based on outlier results in 2024 in close games. I think that has a lot to do with it. Found it: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46003861/nfl-teams-likely-decline-lose-more-games-2025-season-predictions-vikings-chiefs-commanders-lions-colts
  3. I am not sure if you are being disingenuous or condescending here.
  4. You'd be one of the few. My excitement is basically completely gone. I just watch because I have been watching for 30 years. It's just habit. Maybe there will be a day that this franchise elicits excitement again. It would be nice.
  5. Allen going prime Jeff Lewis. Wow. That was fuging retarded.
  6. Yeah, I am just not a guy that likes wrasslin' or reality TV elements in everything. I am fine with disagreements or passionate debates but I don't want manufactured nonsense. I would rather they be a bit boring than that poo. You can probably get Sherman to be mean. Just allow him to drink on set.
  7. Eh...I gotta be honest, I hate all the hot take BS in modern sports broadcasting. It's just fuging annoying. I wish they would let some of these guys talk ACTUAL BALL like early, pre-dumbed down Tony Romo or Jon Gruden. That stuff is great. The Stephen A. Bayless and Skip Cowherd's of the world can take a walk. It's all dumbed down, fake BS.
  8. That Faux News plastic lady creeps me the fug out. She looks like a Tim Burton character.
  9. 100%. He'd be a perfect candidate for our veteran QB slot. I would love him or Jacoby Brissett.
  10. Al Michaels is still pretty decent. Herbstreit is a mixed bag. He's a better college guy.
  11. He is 11/13 for 112 yds and 2 TD's since you posted this. Lol. You dun woke him up.
  12. IDK why Herbstreit is making a big deal about them not tackling him after the spin. I don't think they let up at all, they were just out of position in the first place.
  13. That's a helluva a streak to not have thrown a pick six.
  14. Yeah, I am not wishing it on the dude but even the move to draft Etienne was a pretty obvious sign they plan on moving on. So, if we re-sign Dowdle(unsure this will happen) either Etienne or Brooks isn't gonna make the roster. If we don't re-sign Dowdle, does anyone really thing we will go into a season with Chuba backed up by Brooks and Etienne?? That would be....pretty unwise.
  15. That's such a stupid penalty to wipe out a TD.
  16. He's been serviceable this season. Definitely nothing special. Probably still an upper third backup QB, at least. This game, not great so far. He has basically been a more accurate, more effective Bryce Young his in NFL career, so far.
  17. Higgins with an XL level sideline catch.
  18. LMAO. He was blocking one dude with each arm on that last snap.
  19. You mean that rug on concrete isn't soft???
  20. Oof. I think Allen fuged his throwing arm up. Maybe funny bone?
  21. Nothing special as a QB but nice to have a young, somewhat effective player at the backup position. Maybe one day we will believe in that.
  22. Should have started this earlier. You know, it would be nice to have a Davis Mills on the roster right now.
  23. This is technically a Week 12 game. Let me actually start that thread up.
  24. I don't think any of us should assume anything about our FO. They have had a knack for making some of the most surprising/boneheaded decisions in franchise history during the David Tepper era. I do agree that Tepper likes him, which is why we are saddled with him at the moment despite the overwhelming evidence he is a bad NFL QB. I don't think he is going to be so quick to realize how wrong he was in his QB evaluation.
