  1. It does help being arguably the most talented team in the NFL.
  2. I honestly thought they would severely regret that contract. Has definitely been worth the money so far.
  3. I am very glad Ekwonu is playing very well now. Because watching Penei Sewell stings every fuging time.
  4. Believe as in we are a Super Bowl caliber team like that pic?? I mean....you are probably talking a 12+ win season this year and steadily getting better and better each week. That's an exceptionally tall task for this season. I don't think that measuring stick is a particularly useful one. If we answer key personnel questions, expand our core players and set the table for a better 2026, I will be very happy.
  5. When people talk about non-elite QB's you can build a team around it's the Goff's, Cousins and Ryan's of the world they are really thinking of. It's not actually guys like Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles.
  6. He would not start for literally almost any NFL teams. This is the same type of thing people kept saying about Brady Christensen getting a big contract this past offseason. For some reason the Huddle always equates a solid backup player to a Pro Bowl NFL starter. I will never understand why this happens.
  7. Depends on if the benching is permanent.
  8. Yeah, you would hope. He did only average 197.8 in his five starts last season.
  9. 100%. Andy had a good arm but never an elite arm. Those guys had cannons.
  10. Yeah, if he starts multiple times this season it will be interesting to see if that changes. Current year Bryce is down to 2.3/GM and 14 Attempts/20+ Yard Throw. He has been even less aggressive about taking deep shots so far this year.
  11. Rodgers and Stafford are HOF level players. Andy in his prime was an above average NFL starter but not in the discussion for being the best at his position like Rodgers and Stafford were. Those 300+ yard performances are getting a lot fewer and far between for guys like Rodgers and Flacco too. Just saying that I wouldn't expect a wild performance. Vinny also wasn't throwing for big numbers often after about his mid-30's.
  12. That's still likely Chris Gamble at this point. Bradberry deserves at least a mention if we are talking all time great Panther CB's. Horn is on track to surpass both but I would say he has to sustain that level of play for a few more years to supplant them. On paper he is more talented so hopefully he leaves the game as our best ever.
  13. Sounds like they plan to sign someone to be the backup. I am sure they have very little faith in Hooker.
  14. I really couldn't understand why people were chirping about keeping Corbett benched. He was a very good OG. It's him at center that was never very good. Also, Cade Mays once again is a replacement level player. As fans, some of ya'll really need to stop overestimating these long term backup players. That's rarely an accident. Doesn't mean they aren't valuable but the idea that these guys are long term starting solutions is ludicrous.
  15. Yeah, I don't think a 37 year old Dalton has a lot of "balling out" left in the tank. Possibly a game or two here or there but I would say that definitely should not be the expectation level.
  16. That was a guy I wrote off too quickly. He has absolutely blossomed into an unquestionably elite player.
  17. I don't think that was a rumor, I am pretty sure he said that in a presser to reporters when asked about Coker specifically.
  18. Out of curiosity I took a look at 2024 to see if it was markedly different between Bryce and Dalton in the deep shots catrgory using NFL Next Gen Stats(20+ yard throws). Dalton: 2.8/GM, 8.75 Attempts/20+ yard throw Young: 3.8/GM, 8.34 Attempts/20+ yard throw That was a little surprising.
  19. I don't think one comment about him being out of shape this offseason constitutes a "nortorious reputation."
  20. I agree with this but I do think we aren't likely to see a Cam Newton era pass bombing in the cards. I don't think that's really the structure of Canales offense at all.
  21. Yeah, Maye is playing great but I don't think the end of year discussion is going to be either the Pats being good nor the Maye being an MVP candidate. I think the schedule so far has a lot to do with that. Which, I am pretty sure their current SOS is 31st, so perhaps this does also continue.
  22. Actually, we did not play badly on defense. Special teams was what directly led to that unholy ass whipping.
  23. I wouldn't call the Pats good, either. Their wins were against teams that have a combined 12-23 record. Including three wins against 1-6 teams.
