  1. Watch the play live, it would be possible to miss that scrambling away from pressure. A screenshot makes it seem much easier than it actually was, I am sure. I certainly hope he saw it because it's a Bryce 1.0 throw, if not.
  2. Chinn is another in a long line of guys Panthers fans overly valued but the league responded by showing they don't consider his value to be nearly as high. I liked the guy a lot but he did never reach his full potential.
  3. Anyone making a trade at this point is likely going to extend him. There is also the chance the Bengals screw it up enough that they just let him play out his contract and then attempt this again next offseason after they tag him. If they really wanted to unload him, they technically already missed the boat. That should have been done in the offseason and prior to the draft.
  4. I couldn't tell if Bryce saw the flag or not live. If he could, no harm, no foul. If he couldn't, absolutely inexcusable. I will say that IMO that pass to TMac was a poorly thrown ball due to the pass rush. He needs to throw it better but with half the line getting dump trucked, I can't beat Bryce up too bad. As poorly as the first unit offense played, I honestly think the defense is still a much greater concern. I do wish maybe we could have seen a series or two more of the starters.
  5. We have OL, Horn, etc. Doesn't matter. We don't need to be trading away any of these guys for what is basically a short term fix.
  6. It's not as if he won't continue to be an elite pass rusher but it's not the right TIME for a move like this. We are just digging out of cap issues, have little to no actual core and even adding him isn't going to add a ton in the W/L column this season. I don't think anyone arguing against trading for him doesn't like the player. I love the guy. These gotta be people that are still clinging to this idea of this being a playoff team.
  7. They technically have until the trade deadline and reality is that they could acquire more suitors as injuries or issues pile up. It really just depends on how deep they want to go.
  8. We really can't afford to pay that kind of price tag. Not to mention, by the time we are likely to have this roster turned around enough to win, Hendrickson will likely be close to retirement.
  9. I mean, at that point you are one injury away from literally it being a formality we are gonna lose that week. Dalton is at least competent. Which, I suppose we are close to that being reality regardless.
  10. I mean, I like Hendrickson but ain't no way I am trading Coker. Also, WR is definitely not a need in Cincy.
  11. I mean, that's tantamount to prepping to tank.
  12. I mean the only reasonable pieces we could potentially offer are Ikey, Lewis, Hunt, D. Brown and probably Horn. Maybe Dowdle as a pot sweetner? But why would we literally trade any of those guys? The defense is going to suck. That mold was cast like fuging 2 years ago. If this is desperation over lack of pass rush....well.....tough poo. Figure it out next offseason.
  13. I mean, he is just on a one year deal. This is another BC scenario where we wee overvaluing him as an NFL player versus his worth to our roster specifically. Also, why would the Bengals want a backup player? That's not the impact they are looking for, more likely than not.
  14. Mays is valuable to us. He is of very limited value elsewhere. Not sure I would call including him as "stupid."
  15. If so, we are so insanely fuged. They preached patience all offseason. For that to change suddenly would be prime Rhule/Fitterer days.
  16. Yeah but that was also a very good Panthers team. This is a very bad Panthers team.
  17. Plummer's days on the PS might be numbered.
  18. Yeah, that is why I don’t think we will do it. We haven't made any horrifying trades under Dan yet. If that does happen, I suppose we have our answer at GM. We need a new one.
  19. They aren't going to get that from anyone for Hendrickson. He is on the wrong side of 30 and gonna be very pricey to boot. They are going to Bungle it.
  20. We have zero players on this roster that a single NFL team would trade for that are on the cut line. That's a downside of having the worst roster in the league.
  21. BC wouldn't start there and Corbett is a massive injury risk. If they wanted BC, they literally could have signed him in free agency.
  22. Corbett and BC are basically worth very little. That's one reason why I don't want to get involved in a trade if they want a lot of compensation. We have little in the way of valuable players, almost all of them we shouldn't be considering giving up. That leaves draft compensation carrying the weight if we don't give up a big player. Also something we shouldn't be giving up.
