  1. yep, Kiper been pushing Perriman since before the combine. he had him going to the 49ers at 15 in mid february.
  2. Very suspect coaching. He started next to Allen Hurns, and had a very fast and underrated Stacey Coley playing as the 3rd WR. QB also was not up to par.
  3. i think he would be the ideal 3rd round pick.
  4. Dorsett is more then a one trick pony. He has also improved his hands over the years.
  5. Rashad has improved every season, on top of leading FSU in most receiving categories since stepping on campus. he is a top 3 route runner, with Nelson Agholor, and Amari Cooper. i would be content with him in the 2nd. think he can't win vertically, go back and watch him vs. Kyle Fuller
  6. most draft media guys had Perriman as a 1st rounder before the combine. Mayock did, and Kiper had him going to the 49ers at 15 in mid february. people who do research on the draft, been knew about Perriman. he is a late 1st-2nd round guy in my eyes. Brandt, Consell, Lance Z all like his ability to be a good WR, and think he should come off the board in the late 1st.
  7. check out this throw. slant route, low and away. has nothing but green ahead of him, but because of the pass, he can only get a couple of YAC. should have been a huge play.
  8. all WRs come out needing help with route running. but here is something to make you think, this guy is not as bad at getting separation when running routes. Perriman is lined up at the top of the screen, on the outside, off the ball. NC State appears to be in a 2 high safety, man coverage underneath by the Cornerbacks. judging from where the CB is lined up on Perriman, it seems this is man coverage with him taking away the inside routes. coming off the ball, Perriman knows he has to beat the CB to the inside for his route. he stems his route with a quick release outside, to make the CB open up his hips as though he is running a more vertical route. the CB slow plays him, but does open up when Perriman gets into his small cushion. Perriman now has the CB behind him, and the only way he can make a play on the ball, is by running through Perriman. being 6'2 215, there is no way in hell that CB is going to be able to do this. Perriman does make himself available for the pass, and catches it for a 1st down.would like him to ****** the ball out the air with his hands, but Michael Irvin talks about protecting yourself when you are a WR, when going across the middle. his dad played with Irvin, so he was probably taught the same thing.
  9. i have to re watch those games, i think he just got caught out of position. in other games, he showed plenty of ability to hold up on a hash, and center high as a safety. i do agree he is at best at SS, roving the short to intermediate of the field, but he has some single high skills as well. in the panthers defense, he would fit perfectly in the role Harper plays in. Harper is rarely in single high coverage, and when he is back, he plays in a 2 high, on the hash. that gives him less field to cover. he is a much more fluid athlete then Barron, Lester, and other SS prospects from Bama.
  10. Clinton- Dix is a centerfield, single high type safety. Collins can play that role, but is better used as a box safety. very flexible considering he can play both roles.
  11. i do not understand why some of y'all believe he is a liability in coverage. he is not. another Bama prospect that has been playing good ball lately was Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, for the bengals. came on towards the end of the last season.
  12. very good box safety. effective tackler in the open field, decent athleticism, and has ball hawking skills. can play zone, and man coverage. has shown the ability to cover in the slot at times, on some WRs, and TEs. can play single high safety, over top, and on a hash in a 2 high look. takes the correct pursuit angles when finding work, whether making a tackle or tracking the football. attacks the ball in air at its highest point, and has very good hands for a safety. by far the best safety in this class, some scouts believe he is better then HaHa Clinton- Dix, who went around pick 21 last year to Green Bay. i think he should come off the board around the late teens to mid twenties. i find it hard to believe if he is on the board at 25, that the panthers will pass on him.
  13. How? if 1st time offenders are suspended for 6 games at max.
  14. Miami is a better fit for him. same offense he ran in Green Bay.
  15. I'm with you. Don't really see him as an upgrade at the # 2 spot.maybe 2 years ago.
  16. i never understood why they do not press more, when Norman was at best in press coverage.
  17. from Tarrboro, NC. if it meets value, i have no issue with the pick outside of the 1st round
  18. bengals select Blake Bell, TE, Oklahoma Lions select Christian Covington, DT, Rice Cards select Xzavier Dickson, OLB, Bama
  19. I'm thinking next year, we set aside a couple of hours over a 3 days, and just knock this out. 10 minutes in-between picks.
  20. Eagles select Derrick Lott, DT, Chattanooga
