Honestly I could see us taking the trade with Boston then trading 16 to Denver for Ty Lawson.

Well Winslow is there.

Shaq and Archuleta aren't in the same world. Landon Collins is a better comparison to Archuleta. I think there is some risk to Shaq, but he also had a higher ceiling than almost everyone that was available at #25. Archuleta was a liability on the field, teams tried to find him. Shaq is the opposite, he is the guy who makes plays and being around guys like Keek, TD, Peanut. This kid will be on the field. I think he allows us to play a formation resembling a 4-2-5 on 1st and 2nd downs and a 3-3-5 Dime formation on third and long, no team in the NFL sans maybe Seattle has the kind of speed as we do now on defense. Had we taken a top athlete for offense I would be slightly worried that Shula wouldn't be able to get the most out of him. On defense, I am not so worried.

I think a lot of you are selling Devin Smith short. He does a great job of using head fakes and shoulder movements to get defenders off balance. I think of him as a slightly less explosive more reliable Desean Jackson. I think the thing he does best is track the deep ball and separate while the ball is in the air. People often undervalue the ability to look up at the ball and continue running full speed. You add Devin Smith to Cam Newton and this offense we are instantly more explosive. How many times does Cam buy extra time and look up for a WR that has a step on his man. Devon Smith will be that guy, the fit is perfect. He is a much better prospect than Dorsett, don't just look at the speed numbers. Who cares if his route tree is limited. He can run a curl, Bubble Screen, Post, and Fade. In this offense with this QB he doesn't need to do much more.

My bad. I should have looked back at the draft order first
-
At 34 the Steelers select Marcus Peters CB Washington.
-
I know if I was on the clock and someone picked for me before it was even close to my time being up I would be pissed. Especially if I put more time into this than anyone else
-
Pittsburgh may be trading the pick.

I really like the fit there.
