Meh...he's too white to play receiver. /sarcasm. Actually I'm fine with him being in the mix. He's looked good at receiver the few times given the chance in games. Just don't put him back there fielding punts...ever...again.

That really has nothing to do with the point I was trying to make. Imagine having Star Wars books where Darth Vader doesn't die. All I'm saying is I hope the show doesn't change anything major.

This is the one thing that bothers me. And god forbid something big happens in the books that doesn't happen in the show, or vice versa. I mean the show could kill off Jaime while Martin keeps him alive. When I read books or watch TV shows I like to be drawn into it, but things like this really break immersion for me.

I'm 44 whipper snapper. I used to have 2 bookshelves filled with hardbacks. Sold all of those and now I have more room for other stuff. Seriously, aside from the space savings there are so many advantages to owning a kindle (or kindle fire like I have). You still own it forever. You can do quick searches, make notes, read with the lights off (which is great if you're married)...etc. BTW...I'm in the middle of The Passage by Justin Cronin, it was mentioned earlier in this thread by somebody I believe. So far it's pretty good.

Interesting, I never got anything out of holding a book and flipping a page. I was glad once I was able to carry around every book I own in one hand. In any case, it was just an observation, to each their own.

Can't believe you guys still buy the physical copies...once I got Kindle I've never bought another hard back again.

Rooting for Pac...Floyd is just a horrible person. Great fighter though. For Pac to win he's going to have to keep Floyd on his heels all night long and hope he's lost a step.
