  1. I've eaten that sandwich a lot.
  2. My calves, collarbone, lower back have been sore for the last week or so. I haven't missed a gym day in about 6 weeks and haven't had a recovery week in since December. I go to the gym 6 days a week, sometimes 7. I have 3 days of weight training and 3 to 4 of cardio.
  3. I hate it, but I think I need a recovery week. A few muscles are sore and not like DOMS or anything.
  4. My wife loved what you did with Hootie and the Blowfish. Seriously, you're doing good.
  5. Drinking isn't completely horrible for you. There are a few studies that tout the benefits of drinking in moderation. The biggest issue with drinking is the stuff we eat when we drink. I am a proponent of enjoying yourself in moderation.
  6. I just finished a 4.5 mile run and my glutes are a little sore.
  7. That's also why I recommend a sports medicine doctor.
  8. If your form is good and it hurts to do it, you may want to seek out a doctor. I would recommend a sports medicine doctor as they tend to get you back in the gym faster.

  10. Sometimes they have bikes and stength training machines
  11. Sleep on the plane. Finding excuses to skip a training session is a slippery slope.
  12. I have a decent chest and my chest day is inclined bench, flat bench, chest dips, and pec deck. Also, don't neglect your triceps as a lot of chest exercises rely on triceps.
  13. Jase, have you considered a pec deck or chest dips on your chest day?
  14. That's one of the benefits of having a workout partner. It's always nice to have someone correct your form. I would workout with someone, but I have a rotating schedule.
  15. I'm up to running a mile in under 8.5 minutes. I still haven't seen a strength loss from cutting, just not seeing significant gains.
  16. My squats have stayed constant, but I'm running at 7 miles an hour. I think my lungs might have started healing.
  17. Counting calories really kills the desire to have beer.
  18. That's one of the harder things about transitioning to a healthier life style. The best advice I can suggest is to keep a food diary. If it goes in your mouth, it get documented.
  19. Nothing hurts yet, but my knee was pissed initially. Tomorrow is a cardio day so that should help.
