    I would think an incentive based contract would be necessary for Chark. You play this percentage of games, you get the full amount. I’m not sure how it all works, but it seems if he’s wanting other teams to bet on him, he should also bet on himself to stay healthy.

    We’ve discussed this a little, but I think it’s obviously a little more magnified with the #1 pick. In Josh McCown’s evaluation of Bryce Young, he referenced his style of play as being a ‘Point Guard’. In Reich’s presser, he mentioned needing a QB that was a ‘Point Guard’. Do we have our answer already as to who we are picking? Or was this just a coincidence?

    Not reading thru the entire thread, but Sheena Quick is stating the Panthers are having talks about Lamar.

    I think for once I feel at ease to let the professionals do their job. We have a Dream Team staff. And even if we take Hooker at 9, I would trust they know what they are doing.

    No owner is going to want to pay full guarantees to an injury prone quarterback. That's like an owner of a company saying you can have unlimited paid sick days. It would just be insane, which is why the Browns are the Browns.

    If we miss out on the top four...trade back, get extra picks, and fill out with offensive weapons, 3-4 defensive players, and Hendon Hooker....We have the staff to coach up anyone. Age doesn't scare me too much, given non-running QB lifespans in the league.

    He seems so small framed in that picture. I mean she is tiny, and he isn’t too far off. It’s hard to imagine him holding up getting hit by a Bosa.

    If that’s all it would take, for sure. But, it’s going to take an additional first for them to drop to #9. We need all the draft capital we can get to find some 3-4 defenders.
