I think we are all a bit numb. I loved how Rhule seemed like he had all the answers. Sounded like a preacher. Turns out to be a used car salesman. Frank was going to bring the culture back as our first QB. His offense was bland and he was made to hire a makeshift ‘experienced’ staff. I think this time Dan can bring the culture, and Dave can light a fire under the team. Along with routes that can get our receivers open in 2.7 or less. The hope is that the hiring staff actually hired them, and not Tepper.

Can I just say…a lot of people are posting these 32nd in the league stats, but not disclosing that our offense was atrocious. The defense was on the field probably 30% more than most teams. Making that number up, but it seems plausible.

I would say it was his way of throwing shade at Tepper…because he was sure to emphasize it twice.

I challenge you on this...because if this is how you view life you are holding onto many mistakes that you’ve made in the past. Some of the best inventors failed over and over. Some of the best coaches fail over and over. They learn from their mistakes and it makes them better for it. Same goes for personal life. Probably the hardest thing to overcome in todays fallen society. You make mistakes (young and dumb is said ad nauseam for this reason) and you become a better person because of it.

So, let’s say you are addicted to pron, or punched someone in the face, cheated on a test, were verbally abusive….you manned up (meaning became a better man and learned from your mistakes). This prevents you from leading other men?? I would think that would help you lead men. Hey men, don’t do what I did. I’ve been there. Don’t go down the wide path, but more the narrow path that’s harder to walk on.

I believe he asked at the very end of the answer if he’s staying. It wasn’t in the microphone, but Canales said yes.

I loved the fact that he said that once we can get the right personnel around Bryce…he’s acknowledging that the team isn’t where it should be to help him succeed.

Sounds like Evero is probably staying. Multiple teams passed up on him, so he shouldn’t be upset that we did also. Build off the same defense in the second year. He will get his opportunity next year.

Is it known that he doesn’t want to be here, or is it just speculation? I haven’t had time to keep up.

On WFNZ, they had someone associated with Tampa…he said that he spoke to Mike Evans about Canales…and that Mike said that he has never run routes like that before. The one thing the guy said he could work on, and that Tampa fans would agree, is his run plays. Said often times they were up the middle, with not a lot of redirection. But, he knew he would get better, but the routes were phenomenal. So, I think you might be right there.

Eminem probably rapped for him and got him to stay.

I find it odd that the Commanders were ‘en route’, probably on a private jet, and he bailed last minute. Sheesh. So, he’s now wasted resources and time of a few teams. He’s going to leave a bad taste in a lot of teams mouths.

I think Seattle might be patient and wait on things to unfold in the playoffs. The Ravens D Coordinator is a big one that seems like he would top Evero.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but it’s very appealing to think you could have Vrabel as a hard nosed coach, paired up with Arthur Smith (recently fired coach) who probably won’t get another Head Coaching gig for a few years. That would be huge for stability.
