  1. If we pick him we need to play him where we plan to ultimately keep him instead of jerking him back and forth like we did TD his first couple of years.
  2. NFL is going to dig until it finds something to justify what its already decided to do.
  3. Stuff like this may also give credence to the speculation that Hardy getting the shaft did actually have an impact on team morale that corresponded to our terrible stretch of games that happened right after all of that went down.
  4. If an NFC South rival is going to have the #1 pick, this is a pretty good year for them to have it since both QB prospects are kind of shaky and are going to get over drafted. Hopefully it will set TB back five years.
  5. I don't know why it should. Hardy was here all of preseason and played against TB and pretty much nobody on this site, or among fans in general, or even in the media, said a peep about how he shouldn't be part of the team, or was a violent abuser, or whatever, and that he shouldn't play. The only reason things changed is because the media decided (based on the RR video) that all of that was true and the soft headed among us suddenly changed their mind even though none of the facts changed after the Tampa Bay game. Now, months later, we know virtually nothing that wasn't public knowledge last September. In other words, if pretty much all their fans were cheering for Hardy when he was playing against TB, why wouldn't they still support him? I mean, other than the morons who consider Bob Costas some kind of mental giant, of course. For those who were pissed off that Hardy was still on the team prior to being told you should hate him, I can at least respect your intellectual consistency and ability to think for yourselves. Unfortunately there are somewhere between virtually zero and zero of these people out there.
  6. For his return abilities alone he would be worth what we paid Avant and Cotchery, if he's willing to come here for that.
  7. What you have to remember is that the NFL will make its decision completely on how the wind is blowing in the mainstream media. If Bob Costas and others of his ilk start demanding Hardy be suspended, guilt be damned, then the NFL will completely cave just like it did last season. What the NFL has done with regards to cases like this in the past does not matter. What makes sense does not matter. What seems equitable does not matter. The NFL has proven to be run by a bunch of gutless, clueless, self serving, idiots, who fall completely to pieces when a certain crowd starts calling it names. The sooner the rest of us stop trying to read tea leaves and remember all of that, the quicker we can all stop wasting our time making speculation based on what happened with Big Ben or pretty much anything else the NFL has ever done prior to the Ray Rice video being made public.
  8. Most of the coke *****/stripper types are content to trade a little fellatio for their drugs. You've got to be a prime piece of ass for a guy to pay your rent on top of getting to bang you.
  9. That's a CYA rumor started by the prosecution because that makes them look better than having to admit that their star witness is a fraud who didn't want to be exposed for what she really is in a courtroom for all the world to see.
  10. I've watched every snap of every game this season and I can say with certainty that our D played subpar football in the second half of the game. The Pats scored on two long TD drives and kicked a FG on the other. The D did keep them out of the end zone on the final drive after allowing them to drive the length of the field in less than a minute although I think most would agree that it wouldn't have shocking at the end for NE to have punched it in on one of those last couple of plays. Having said that we were without our best defensive lineman for most of the second half thanks to NE's bush league leg whipping, we were playing a potentially explosive offense that we forced to dink and dunk its way down the field the whole game, we did force those two TO's, and we held them to 20 which every single one of us would have taken prior to the game. So while it wasn't a terrible defensive effort and it wasn't nearly as good as the previous week it was good enough for the win. It's kind of like our offensive performance last week versus SF. It didn't look good on paper or even when watching but our offense did just enough and we got the win. That's how these things go when playing other great teams so I am happy.
