  1. With everything going on injury wise I'm not as confident as I should be so I am saying 16-13 Panthers. Hope it isn't that close.
  2. How many games has our entire starting offensive line been positive?
  3. This is the kind of low risk/high reward move everybody should be able to support.
  4. While I appreciate the optimism of the OP, I will eat my hat if we put up 40 offensive points Sunday. Hope I'm out hat shopping come Monday, of course.
  5. Take out the first few drives and he would probably be positive.
  6. They pass the ball down the field then decide to start running and then miss a FG. Sounds familiar.
  7. Sounds like a lot of Iggles fans are at the game.
  8. Glad for the win but this game didn't really teach us anything we didn't already suspect about this team. Our Oline was much better in pass protection but the WR play still left a lot to be desired. The defense played pretty well but its obvious Jacksonville is no offensive juggernaut so who knows if its our defense or their offense thats more to blame. Hope the injured guys are back next week.
  9. Deangelo is the jilted wife of NFL running backs. He gets dumped, loses a bunch of weight and then starts putting out like he hasn't in years in the previous relationship. Lets see how long it lasts with the new guy.
  10. I was at the game and it was awesome. They weren't really calling for rain that day so nobody was prepared for the monsoon of biblical proportions that swept through the stadium in the second quarter. We sat through the whole thing in the upper deck before heading down at halftime although by then we were literally soaked through. I still remember stripping down to my skivvies in the car on the way home in attempt to start drying out. Its definitely a game that will never be forgotten.
  11. Is this like MJ changing back to 23?
  12. Can't wait til we lose a 1st down over the good old illegal formation in the regular season.
  13. I know that roster scenario is meant to be a bit of an extreme example of going all in on youth but, looking over it, it really makes the most sense from a "what they've done so far this year" perspective. It also sets us up nicely for the future with guys we can plan on being here long term. All this without really giving up anything, at least from a performance perspective thus far this year. I doubt we see all those moves happen but hopefully most of them will. I think it would be for both the long and short term benefit to the team.
  14. Whats the point of inviting UDFA's to training camp if it isn't to find guys who play their guts out and produce every time they are given a chance to do so? If we are going to follow recent history and keep the nonproducing veterans we are going to get our ass kicked for half the season just like last year. Hopefully somebody has learned their lesson.
  15. Yeah but if they all blow out their knees tonight it will prove DG didn't do enough dammit!!
  16. At least he will have plenty of time to recover and come back 100% next year. Admittedly I'm grasping at straws here.
  17. I picked.a bad day to stop using amphetamines.
  18. I was always under the impression the original Krispy Kreme was in Winston Salem. Maybe I've been misled my whole life.
  19. Or as the media will report, "Cam Newton holds up Luke Kuechly extension".
  20. And that 38 million is going to be more like 15 million once they get their "franchise" QB signed. Not sure thats going to be enough to keep everyone they want to keep.
  21. They should ship him to Jacksonville and let him try to be the AFC version of Cam. Shouldn't be a problem for him since he seems to think he's the best QB in the league.
  22. I agree. People who think their opinions are so darned enlightened they can shove them down everyone elses throat are the worst, regardless of whether they are religious preachy kooks or PC preachy kooks who think they should be able to bully others into doing whatever they think. Now that the religious kook crowd is finally losing their grip over those of us who aren't buying what they are selling they are being replaced in our lives by PC kooks who think they are part of a similarly holy crusade to rid the world of anybody with whom they disagree. A pox on the houses of the busy bodies in both groups who have much more in common than either group would ever admit..
  23. Washington was a slave owner and therefore evil to the PC kook crowd that obsesses over crap like this. The city will be renamed before the thought police would stand for it's football team being named after a white slave owner.
  24. I'm glad to hear we are giving reps based on performance instead of.draft or contract status or number of years in the league.
