Official Panthers at Patriots Gameday Thread!

I think Mays could turn out to be our new Norwell -
He’s not even a traffic cone he’s a turnstile. Letting a huge DT free run up the gut straight into your QB is recipe for disaster. If he’s our starting center we’ll see too much of Sam too early I’d rather roll with the rookie mayes there’s no way he’s as bad as the elf

I retired this past February at 58. 38+years with the same company. I’ve also had a side gig for 20 plus years. The company I worked for had become such a pain in the azz to work for I’d had enough. I use to enjoy it but got to hating it every morning , knew it was time. Luckily with a few pensions and some sound financial investments I could Playing golf almost every day now and my side business is doing well. I highly recommend it to everyone. Like a wise old man told me once you can’t buy time. Enjoy your life while u can

I play golf almost every day now since I retired and I don’t know where u grew up but there isn’t a golf course any where close to me that lets kids play free. Now if they on HS team they get to play free but as far as kids getting on free around here it ain’t happening. and that’s the exact reason years ago I couldn’t afford to take both my sons at the same time to play. It would cost me over $100 on the weekend and that was 18 years ago. now the courses at the beach when we went on vacation would let them on free with me. Never made sense to me when people talk about promoting the sport but then charge a father extraordinary amount for their kids to play 18 holes. Your experience is yours. I know and have met a lot of great people thru golf. Also met plenty of azz holes that act like their chit didn’t stink and everyone was below them.

But back to the point of overzealous parents. My brother in law is that way he coached his sons travel baseball team. We go to the beach every year with them so I had plenty of chances over the years to throw and catch with his kid and mine on beach. The difference between my kid who didn’t play travel ball and his kids hand eye coordination was night and day. I told my wife he’s gonna get that kid hurt playing him at 3rd base well sure enough nephew got lit the fk up one game and made a trip to er luckily nothing broken in his face Since then he’s took up swimming

In the small town I live in we have had a pretty good run of young hs players going on to play college golf and everyone one of them grew up on the country club course their houses are either on the course or a block away. With that being said anyone can play on HS team but how demoralizing would it be to go out and play with hand me down clubs against kids that have the best equipment and have been playing since they could walk and are scratch golfers High school kids can be mean don’t see a lot of kids setting themselves up for that ridicule but there are exceptions.

They mentioned on espn that Detroit liked duren so much they considered taking him at 5 if Ivey wasn’t there. Not saying he’s Shaq or ever will be but an athletic young big man who can guard multiple positions and rim protect is highly regarded by most competent nba teams. Trading him for peanuts makes no sense. And seeing that Detroit loved him so much we should have dumped or at least got better return Williams is fine if that’s who they preferred. I just think he’s limited

The Denver 1st round pick will be in the 20s
-
Must be a duke fan lol
-
Yeah that trades a real head scratcher. We basically got nothing. If it’s the bucks pick they ain’t not making the playoffs 3 years from now as long as they have giannis
-
Wouldn’t be surprised if The warriors 28th pick turns out better than our 15th in 2-3 years.
-
What coaches ??
-
So we traded duren who looked like a potential stud for basically nothing. And picked a less athletic offensive limited Williams
-
If they didn’t dump Hayward and his contract with that asinine trade Kup got taken to the woodshed and bent
-
Yeah because the hornets have done so well picking those sleepers
-
Exactly
-
Apparently bilas isn’t familiar with the hornets big man issues

Is There Anyone Other Than a T or QB for the Panthers at #6
Cuttinedge replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
They’ll reach and take a QB at #6 that’ woulda been a 3rd round pick last year. Take the BPA having talent at key positions never hurts on a rookie deal -
6 seconds on shot clock and guard gives it up to bacot at the top of the key wtf. Game over good run Tar Heels
-
He’s nasty rather have him later in the first. But he’s a huge improvement over John “sacks happen” Miller Our oline is soft and has been for quite some time now

My neighbors Kia (under warranty ) was in the shop for several months for a engine issue. They drove that loaner into the ground

Being aggressive in free agency and trades wins.
Cuttinedge replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep Stafford looks like a genius now first year and in the super bowl. Can’t blame him he made the right decision -
Lot of people hollering we need to draft an elite qb and I agree. Problem is There just might not be any elite qbs in this draft so why draft a project. Draft a OL that can actually help instead of a guy that sits and learns behind darnold
