    No reasonable person expects us to have a competitive roster in 2024. Just need to add some long term pieces through the draft and younger free agents

    @csxhas basically said it but tanking and taking a long term approach are not the same thing. My guess/ hope is that senseless free agent signings to squeeze out a 4th or 5th win are a thing of the past. 3 year journey. I'm here for it.

    Yes it's speculation but despite the well deserved hate I'm working with the theory that Tepper isn't abjectly stupid. This would require Morgan having been more right than wrong.

    While none of us know, I think Morgan got the job because he was the dissenting voice in some or most of the bad personnel decisions and time has proven him correct
