    Obviously it's past time for Dalton to play, but hell I'd have a glimmer of hope if they went with Plummer.

    No doubt. Defense is pretty good, even without Brown. Impressive when they show up knowing they're going to be on the field 80% of the game.

    Without hyperbole I can comfortably state that Bryce Young is the worst QB I've ever seen play professional football.

    I'm truly sorry to hear that Panther brother. We aren't going to win many, but we can with this one. I'll be rooting extra hard in honor of your pop.

    I see it as a positive in that they knew they were signing up for a multiple year rebuild. The Brooks pick is proof of that. I don't have proof of this but I do believe they both also came in knowing that year 2 would be identifying the QB of the future.

    To be fair Dan and Dave were saddled with him. No one in the building thinks Bryce has the dawg mentality. Except his weird dad I guess.

    It's really pretty simple. Opening day kicks off. ~22 teams are eliminated from Super bowl contention immediately based on their QB play. There is no planet where Bryce becomes one of the other 10.

    I agree 100%. The time investment of the fans matters. Patience does not last forever. I think we'll see a Bryce injury by week 4 or 5.

    I could certainly be wrong but I think Canales and Morgan will tell Dave or have already told Dave that they can't win with Bryce. Dan: "It's a big man's game" Canales: "I want my QB to plant his foot and let it rip" ***Bryce is standing on tippy toes to see over the line Dave Isn't stupid. Just a matter of time.

    I tip my hat sir. It's likely you're dead on it as you were last week. Vegas is baiting Chargers - 6.5 and the 38.5 under. I think the Chargers win something like 24-20.

    Vegas is very good. There are no sure things. I will say that 38.5 feels like a low total when our defense isn't holding anyone to less than 27 all season.

    I really want these to be renamed to: "Know This Week's Winner"

    The one trait he supposedly excelled at was the "elite processing " ability. In reality, he has no feel or instincts at all. He can't diagnose a blitz and get the ball out in time. If he actually sees someone open, that's when the panic starts and it's overthrown 5+ yards.

    You're not alone. It was obvious we didn't have a playoff roster but I thought we'd hang around and lose by 10 or so. Still win 5 or 6 games. So yes, complete humiliation and a lost season after 1 game surprised me.

    The dude had 6 months with unlimited resources to accomplish one thing: improve his body and strength. And he couldn't be bothered.

    100% agree but would add it's possible he figured that out but a year too late. Now if he can continue to stay out of it there's at least a chance it will be a 2 year mistake instead of 10. Here's to 1 overall in 2025.

    The criticism of Stroud was that he was throwing to guys open by 5 yards i.e. surrounded by elite talent. Just like Bryce. We had an owner, GM, and many others who somehow couldn't figure out who's who.

    Adversity... journey...blah blah blah. Not good enough. At some point Panthers fans deserve a competent product on the field. We're literally only asking for the bare minimum and not getting it

    I still really like XL and our draft class as a whole. Unfortunately the cupboard is mostly bare otherwise

    Remember when he said he spent the off season playing video games? Pretty clear that's where his passion lies.

    Any real NFL QB that has ever played would have been absolutely furious with themselves after making that play. Our guy smiled.

    The experts mostly liked Bryce. No thanks. Take the dude that looks like an NFL QB and can actually throw a football (Stroud) and let's see what Canales can do.
