    I think that was actually a measured position as a fan. It's normal to have hope. I did. But today was the penultimate end of an error.

    100%. Total whiffs in the 1st 2 rounds last year. Should have been obvious that we needed guys that were football ready with premium picks. Fortunately, this year's class is looking dramatically better.

    Agreed. For XL I'd guess NFL speed football awareness is his #1 problem. Failing to get 2 feet down with 5 yards of room in the AZ game as a 2nd year player feels like the beginning of the end. As you point out, someone like UDFA Coker managed that his first game. I really don't think it's primarily effort. For XL, when the lights come on his go out.

    Minor cope but we could have had McConkey or Coleman. The Cardinals could have taken Alt, Nabers or Bowers.

    If it makes anyone feel better, Marvin Harrison Jr. went 4 overall in 24 and it's... not looking great.

    Not great for XL but from what I've seen Tremayne runs better routes, is a better blocker and has better hands.

    You nailed it. It's a tired theme. Moore is on the team because he doesn't miss assignments. Bottom of the roster guys like that are how you win games.

    That was the game plan. It worked. I never planned to be the resident David Moore advocate but the guy went 32 for 351 and 3 TDs last year as the 5th option. 19 of the 32 went for 1st downs. He's not restricted to blocking. He's not elite. He's a solid contributor as demonstrated above.

    Definitely years too late but he's learned to pull away. Maybe one day we can stick to talking football again instead of Tepper in every thread

    I still have reservations but 3rd and medium or long we mostly went pressure today rather than Evero's typical soft zone. So yeah, credit is due.

    You don't win in the NFL 30-0 without completely and totally outcoaching the opposition. It was Canales' and the entire staff's best game by a mile.
