  1. He doesn't matter against us unfortunately. No way we can deal with Hill, Waddle and Mostert in the first place. Hill alone would probably be enough to beat us.
  2. I think Reich is safe if the offense shows improvement as the season goes on. He gets to use the 'everything is new card' up to the Bye. Rookie QB, all new skill position players, same Oline but different blocking and run scheme, new coaching, etc. Its not just Bryce looking like crap out there - everything looks bad (Except Theilen - He's been solid). Not only is the playcalling predictable - it seems we have serious issues getting the play in and are constantly burning timeouts due to it. Fitterer - I really have no idea what happens with him. There are a handful of things that I really liked on paper that he did - but they haven't seemed to have panned out in any sort of positive manner. He could be canned but likely at the end of the season.
  3. I honestly think we are stuck with Reich and possibly Fitt for a few more years. No competent coach or GM is going to come here right now.
  4. Lol during the game he was begging for a flag on literally every ball that came his way.
  5. At this point I'd rather sign Burns and make him the focus of our defense. Unsure if Brown deserves the kind of cash he is going to expect. No way we can give a bag to Jaycee Horn. Pass rushers of Burns caliber are just extremely expensive in the draft and in FA. Quality wideouts are routinely found in almost every round of the draft. I'm also not entirely sure even a bonafide receiver can fix our current offensive woes.
  6. Cam also had Steve Smith. I'd happily trade another future second to Chicago to have dj moore back. I dont think he wants to be there anyway.
  7. This is the best post I've seen since the game. It really looked like we handily won the trenches until the turnovers started to pile up, which seemed to have worn the defense down or killed their spirit. The picks were bad, but I actually like that they happened in the same way and early on. Bryce is a bright guy and I don't think it will remain a habit. I really like the clock in Bryce's head - its obvious he's well aware of the amount of pressure he is on any given play and he moves extremely well in the pocket to extend plays. One thing that always bothered me about Cam was his habit to always bail the pocket on a spin move, then run backwards and rollout. When it worked it worked, but sometimes Cam would get hit behind the pocket and take sacks for -10 or more yards which killed drives. I liked Bryce's decisiveness - even when throwing the ball away. The lack of late game urgency really doesn't concern me yet. Really felt like the team decided to toss this one away and use it as a learning experience after the third turnover. What I really did not like seeing was the issues getting the call in and getting to the line. There was confusion on some plays as well - the fumble involving hubbard comes to mind, flagged for invalid play formation, avoidable delay of game penalties and burned timeouts. The offense has a lot to clean up at the skill positions.
  8. The 49ers ranking alone should tell you everything you need to know about this list. Thats a top 5 roster no question. Chiefs #1 is way too high for their roster as whole - Mahomes and Reid add a lot to their success. Still a good roster but probably not the top spot.
  9. I agree. Game changing wide outs are a luxury, not a requirement in the NFL. Moss, TO, Fitzgerald, Calvin J, Steve Smith, Julio Jones - This is way too talented of a list of players at a single position to not have a ring. There's obviously tons of great players at every position to never win a ring, I just don't think it compares to the level of talent these wideouts possessed.
  10. We'd have traded for Fields instead of the #1 pick
  11. I agree but not for the same reasons. The Bears suck. They suck hard. As skeptical everyone is about Fields' ability to take his passing game to the next level, he's still probably the best player on that team. When the roster is this devoid of talent - it makes WAY more sense to trade down, take the BPA with every pick, and hope to draft a core group of guys you can build a team around. The Bears have nothing to lose letting Fields start for a few more years. If he does not improve they can always move on from him.
  12. JT. Love CMC and think hes a better player but Taylor's situation is significantly better.
  13. I mean... he had steve smith. But then we cut him...
