  1. i would probably have to eat it in a stir fry or something
  2. i get bored so very easily that i have to change up my routine or crank up the intensity you can't go wrong, but you can go more right by investing everything you have into every workout, regardless of what it is
  3. yeah but for regular people that lack discipline, motivation and common sense, what do you recommend? actually, fug it. let them stay regular. it makes being extraordinary that much easier for me.
  4. they don't make an app or device that does your work for you. that's all i'm saying. you get back what you actually put into it with sweat and pain. nothing more, nothing less.
  5. if you are an unhealthy person, you cannot be healthy without changing your lifestyle. period.
  6. yeah i just started working out again in january after 15 years of a lazy lifestyle. totally obsessed. also totally ripped.
  7. also my most productive routine (when i can stick to it) is strength training one day, followed by cardio on the same muscle groups the next with HIT mixed in. but i'm going for athleticism more than bulk or strength
  8. might as well capitalize on that jacked metab to burn a few extra calories too if you're trying to cut some
  9. when i'm feeling young i'll go hit a 5 minute interval session on the ropes before and after my resistance routine. sometimes hill sprints. just something to get the blood pumping and wake me up
  10. fitness is a lifestyle, not an app or a trendy bracelet
  11. yeah there are apps for that anyway i'm sure. i know there are several good fitness apps
  12. i've got several that i rotate through. right now i'm doing one day heavy lifting with the next day being aerobic versions of all the same movements.
  13. yeah anytime you have a legitimate medical condition that can be aggravated or triggered by repetitious motion or heavy lifting its probably better not to but really doesn't that just mean the rest of us should stopping taking our potential for granted and push ourselves even harder?
  14. i've also taken on more of a boxer/pro-mma fighter routine, i want strength/speed/endurance combined, or at least balanced. pushing the strength with a healthy dose of cardio.
  15. i'm 37 and that is just an excuse i do all my heavy/cooldown sets to failure suffer now or regret it later
  16. lifting to failure is as much about endurance as anything
  17. i don't disagree with you, i just have a habit of getting myself into bad situations with those things if i'm alone and pushing it
  18. that's one of the benefits of using a cable system. you can rep to failure without having to worry as much about injury
  19. also smith machines are awesome when you get older. i'll use anything and everything to work out. except a nautilus.
  20. i've been watching the CT Fletcher videos on days when i just don't feel like working out. it helps.
