Agreed with KK signing setting us back. Also sitting on our hands and not upgrading G and 1C anytime over the past 5 years. Those have been holes essentially since EStaal and Cam Ward. I would have really liked to see what the conversation was like around Pettersson.

Gotcha. I wish one of my teams would just have long term sustained success. The only team that gives me that right now is Gamecock Women’s Basketball. And as great as that is…it’s women’s basketball. lol

Good news about Mitch. Haven’t been impressed with him. But also not impressed by that list of names either.

I forgot what good passing looked like. This is a completely different team.

Maybe. Dallas has been tied to him the most and just traded for Daniel Gafford.

Let him build up some strength and put some playmakers around him and he will be a superstar.

He will definitely get better as he gets stronger. He doesn’t have the quickness to generate space so he will improve when he can absorb contact better. He also needs a primary ball handler to work off of. He’s so good off the ball and not ONLY having to create for himself. Lamelo is the only one who can do that for him consistently but I also agree with other posters that I’m not sold yet on Melo’s long term future.

I remember when Blaine Gabbert over Cam was a thing.

No idea why Fitterer didn’t get a big RB at the trade deadline. We can’t get 1 yard when we need it. [We just failed to score a TD from the 1 as I type]. BY + Chubba/Sanders/Blackshear can’t get it done.

Delhomme was never a star but was an excellent game manager. Those teams were built on strong OL, DL, RBs, and Steve Smith.

IIRC Barber got stiff armed to the turf by both RBs. That game was so fun to watch.

I’m assuming you didn’t watch any Drew Allar games this year?

I’m conflicted cheering for him right now. And he was my favorite player before his crap went down. But man, Miles is so freaking good.
