Can any of those three guys help via special teams in any way except returns? That'd be something to consider as well (as I'm sure the coaches will do). But it'll be fun to watch regardless as the real bullets start flying!

I'm not going to rush out and buy a Williams jersey quite yet. But it's a nice little nugget to keep an eye on going forward. It'll be interesting to see how this progressing through preseason games.

How's the kicking game looking? I know it is hard to tell without being in game situations but just wondering if Gano and Nortman are looking sharp so far. So easy to overlook the kicking game until it bites us.

You won't find a harder worker than Brandon Beane. So maybe this is a nod to him for that hard work and helping bridge the gap between Marty and Getts. Maybe this is a way for him to learn more from Gettleman and who knows what they do when he retires. Would you rather they not prepare him for the possibility? What happens if Gettleman retires abruptly and there are no great options out there? Besides, the average huddler thinks they can be GM.

Lots of good advice in this thread. I went in state, borrowed money for about half and worked part time jobs in college for the rest. Still took me eight years to pay back the loans (teacher salary in NC). The cost now is completely outrageous compared to what I paid. I never regretted it one bit, and would do it all over again because it was the right decision for me.

So my iPhone 5 is on the blink. Had the battery replaced about a month ago and now the phone is screwing up again. It will reboot about every two minutes, the phone gets hot...from the research I've done, the phone is basically toast. So I figured I'd upgrade (due for one anyway with Verizon). Apparently these things are still 3-4 week delivery so I checked online and there are none available at any Apple Store in NC. Holy poo I can't believe they are still that bad out of stock. My phone is basically unusable so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. And yes, I'm tied to Apple so leave the "get a Samsung" remarks at the door.

Yeah I was at a bar last season (or year before that) and had to try to explain to one of my friends why we didn't have Smitty in the game in the 4th quarter only down one touchdown. Of course, he was a Cowboys fan first, so that may explain part of the brain damage.

R.A. Salvatore: The Icewindale Trilogy, if you're into D&D Fantasy type of stuff. All of those books with Drizzt are a fun read.
