Same reason guys like Colin Cowherd are still on the radio

Reminded why we got rid of Jonathan Mingo Reminded that I don't really understand why we let go of the Ihmir Smith-Marsette

I remember a really weird pregame moment with him back in I think 2005 or so... Coming back from a commercial, before the guys were even on camera, Curt Menefee did a voice over where he talked about an "inside scoop" from Bradshaw. He said Jake Delhomme was not only gonna be benched, but likely cut. It finished with "Jake Delhomme has started his last game for the Carolina Panthers". And then not another word about it. The way they handled it - giving it only a passing mention then ignoring it - I think Fox thought it was bullsh-t. It felt like they didn't want to broadcast it but Bradshaw pushed until they did. And obviously, it was bullsh-t. Bradshaw has since left the inside scoopage to Jay Glazer...as he should.

3-8 would be a higher win percentage than 3-9

And the mood in my house will be dimmer

Never been a fan... Granted, our stupidity made him look like a genius, but even with everything we gave him I think he's been a subpar GM.

It's a rare opportunity...

Bradshaw consistently has some of the dumbest football games I've seen Likable guy, entertaining to watch, but not the brightest bulb.
-
Did Bradshaw just predict that the Cowboys are gonna beat us when we play?
-
It takes a special kind of stupid to lose a game like that. Throw in that he did it on Thanksgiving so it's national TV. That's likely gonna dominate sports radio for at least the next several days...and possibly through next week.
-
There's dumb, there's megadumb, there's uberdumb, and then several miles further down the scale there's whatever that was I can't believe what I just watched.
-
Lord have mercy, that was painfully ugly to watch Matt Eberflus might get literally fired...from a cannon.
-
And there goes bullet number two...
-
Bullet to the foot...
-
Ooohhh, I think that's a sh-tty call
-
Boy, was that stupid
-
It's an entertaining finish, I'll say that.
-
I'm tempted to say this is a nicely called game by Thomas Brown, but I feel like I have to temper that looking at all the injuries on the Detroit defense.
-
Full confession: I know very little about current country music.

Thanksgiving and a household with over twenty birds is...interesting For the record though, those "animals" are clean...or at least their cages are.

Hope not, for a couple of reasons... One, Chicago is always more fun to watch when they have a defensive identity, like a "Monsters of the Midway" sort of thing. And two, I think Ben Johnson deserves better then wherr the Bears are right now. Heck, I'd still love for us to get him somehow, but he probably deserves better than our current organization too

There's a name I hadn't heard in a while...

Some years back, country had gotten to ja point where it was just pop with a twang. That was when you saw the rise of "new traditionalists" like Randy Travis and Dwight Yoakam who wanted to take it back to its roots. Maybe they need people like that again.
-
No offense to Dave Canales but I would give my right arm to have Ben Johnson.

Did I really watch a countrified version of "Errybody in the club gettin' tipsy"?
