How'd that work out for Newton? Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning all had long, very successful careers. None of them were athletic freaks. Brain power, passing accuracy and processing ability will take you much further in the NFL than athleticism. It's a cool thing to have, but it's nowhere near as important as the other stuff.

Kaye also thinks a 2nd is too high for Lance.

Any info About the Stroud and Levis Meetings?
Mr. Scot replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not directly but his public comments made it extremely difficult to keep him around. -
I survived fifteen years of Marty Hurney, but three years of Matt Rhule was arguably even tougher. It's a wonder I'm still here.

An item that could potentially hold up the sale of the Commanders...

Eeehhh... It sure as hell isn't to be knowledgeable. Pretty much every good source has said that Tepper isn't influencing the decision, but Florio has a mindset he's always gonna run with -
This is your opinion of them?

Brees used to drive us nuts with that approach. It was always a short gain here, a short gain there...and then suddenly oh sh-t they're at the 10 yard line

I think that's fairly well established. -

Snyder reportedly blocked him from bidding on the Commanders. Granted the circumstances are odd, but apparently he still had that right. -
My wife disagrees

If it got to that point, you're probably talking groups rather than individuals. I suppose potentially corporations but I don't know how the NFL would feel about that.
