I mean, it could be, but so could Stroud, Richardson or Levis. And hell, even the best coaches and personnel guys make mistakes. But I'm like you. I trust the people we have in charge now and will do so till they give me reason not to. (here's hoping that doesn't happen anytime soon)

The Young talk is valid. He's definitely very possible, though all reliable sources say the decision isn't made yet. That said, on the occasion of the Texans offering a decent package to trade up, do the Panthers take it? If the offer's good enough, I think they do. Mind you, that doesn't make the Young discussion a smokescreen. It's just the acknowledgment of another possibility.
