Very possible. -

We actually do know the answer to that question. Per a prior report (think it was Breer but I'm not positive) Tepper was known to go around asking assistant coaches to talk about other assistants. So basically, he not only sought it out, but he encouraged it. -

To be fair, it's a lot harder when you have people undermining you like this. That's not Frank's fault. It's Tepper's for fostering that kind of toxic atmosphere. -

I'm starting to wonder how we even won two games with all this bullsh-t going on. -

Wasn't just Campen, apparently. Likely suspects would include Tabor, maybe Brown since both are gone. Some also suggest Jim Caldwell. -

I do, but I blame Tepper way more. How could he possibly believe this was gonna foster a successful atmosphere? -

"More than a few people" will certainly invite speculation -
Quoting the article: On Friday, the Carolina Panthers fired offensive line coach James Campen, who had been with the team since 2022. The team’s offensive line struggled and could not protect Bryce Young, the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. Many of Carolina’s blockers have not met expectations. I’m also told Campen made a few enemies within the organization, as he was the eyes and ears for owner David Tepper in the locker room. In fact, sources at Shrine practice Saturday told me that Tepper had more than a few people in the locker room who would report back to him on the goings on, which destroyed team chemistry.

From Joe Person: "Dave’s a little bit younger than all these guys. But Dave (has) energy and all of the above,” Dickson said. “If we were looking for a look on defense, he’s out there. Got his cleats on, got his gloves, he’s backpedaling. Dave’s really in shape and Dave has a background in dancing. He’s got salsa going on. He’s a jack of all trades.” Wait, salsa dancing? “Dave probably could have been in Hollywood dancing or singing or something like that,” Dickson added. “That’s the type of talent he has. But he’s a football coach.”

From the article: But the Panthers are not done modeling their organization after others. New head coach Dave Canales is expected to lure some of the assistant coaches whom he worked with in Tampa Bay and Seattle the past two seasons. Canales already is scoping out which Buccaneers assistant coaches he can add to the Panthers' staff, and according to sources, some are expected to make the move within the NFC South Division from Tampa Bay to Carolina. Canales also is expected to reach back to his days with the Seahawks to pluck away some former Seattle assistant coaches. Two who are likely to join the Panthers are Pete Carroll's son, Nate Carroll, who works as the Seahawks' senior offensive assistant coach, and former Seahawks assistant special teams coach Tracy Smith, according to sources. -
Yep...
-
Not that I've seen. Tom Cable has been speculated.
-
From what I've read, Eberflus will keep that duty.
-
The "outs" would go against that idea.
-
Another out.. Not entirely certain but I think at this point we might have heard more "outs" than we have "ins"
-
I'd agree, and I'd add what he's saying to him here is actually pretty good advice. Hell, I wouldn't mind having Rivera on board as a defensive consultant or something like that.
-
Yeah, there were a few like that. A lot of us probably remember him famously only rushing two guys on a play where they gave up a big gain.
-
It's the Panthers that are pitching Evero. Canales Is the head coach. He's got nothing to pitch. He likely has an idea of someone else he'd want as a DC. Most head coaches to be have plans about their staff.
-
Our former DC under Rivera... (a job he clearly wasn't ready for at the time)
-
One of Evero's selling points to Canales might arguably be how well his defense performed against Canales' offense during the last game of the season.
