  1. Hell, he could turn out to be the best. Pre-draft evaluations are far from perfect.
  2. They're concerned. Reich has straight up admitted that multiple times. They wouldn't be talking about all the things they can do to "fix" the issue of they weren't concerned.
  3. Fans think that way. Guys whose jobs depend on being right, not so much.
  4. Understood, but the counterpoint is that concern doesn't magically vanish if he's the pick. It'll be there for his entire career, however long (or short) that is. That's a major concern.
  5. Meltdowns are one extreme. Acting like it means nothing is another. Durability concerns are a valid issue. Even the Panthers acknowledge that.
  6. Because a year from now, he still will be. In fact, it'll be true however long his career lasts. And as long as it's true, people will be concerned about him getting taken out.
  7. A bit of draft history... Really hope that quote doesn't end up applying to us as well
  8. I'm quoting this just to assure myself that someone actually said it
  9. I don't. Give him credit. He had a fantastic football mind and was an extremely successful coach. But He was also one of those guys who talked to and treated his players like absolute sh-t, berating guys down to the point that they didn't think they were even capable of playing football unless they played for him. Not a fan of that. Respect the hell out of his coaching skills but I see him as a lousy person.
  10. Does that mean the checkered flag is coming in one lap?
  11. Valid point. I like him too but some of the posts I see here sound like they're copied from ChuckNorrisFacts.com. I think we still need to have reasonable expectations. Don't expect him to look like a football god from his first snap.
  12. Fisher would be the guy to ask if you were looking for ways to knock him out.
  13. I'm not sure you've reading my posts in their entirety because what I've said is I don't know that they could. For Kuechly, the role he had as a pro scout was arguably better suited to him. It involved breaking down film, but not actual coaching. Romo Is a good analyst but as with Kuechly, I have no idea whether he can teach. That's required to be a good coach. The one guy of the bunch that I would give a good shot at coaching Is Greg Olsen. That's not so much because of his knowledge but because his dad is a coach and he grew up in a football type environment.
  14. Gotcha. Definitely missed all that. Sounds like I should probably be thankful.
  15. They can get in the door if they tuck their hair up under their helmet.
  16. Wasn't aware of any of that. I do vividly remember him being an idiot.
