What made Kuechly special is something that pretty easily translates to coaching. Actually don't think he's going to be a coach though. His short foray with the Panthers was in scouting, but part of me wonders if his working so hard and putting so much time into football over the last several years burned him out a little. Some guys can't do anything halfway. It winds up being better for them if they don't do it at all.

Morgan's pic was in response to your mention of players with no injury history. It's valid that injuries are damn near impossible to predict. That's why I don't necessarily think it's fair to call someone whose career was derailed by injuries "a bust".

Eeehhh, maybe. It'd probably come to be viewed the same way they look at a player not doing drills at the Combine. Either way though, I would agree that these scores being leaked is probably only going to decrease the willingness of players to take this test.

No one should take this as a knock on Young's intelligence (though someone probably will) But I do think you kinda have to take into account the fact that he was taking this test on an annual basis from high school forward. The guys who created the test might say that doesn't matter, but they sorta have a vested interest.

I'm not really talking about money. I think he was a decent player. Heck, if you go by money, Chase Daniel is more successful than a lot of players who probably had more talent and ability than him
