  1. Pretty sure The Observer came under new ownership In the last few years. Columnists aside, I'd say the reporting I've seen from Mike Kaye and the unfortunately departing Ellis Williams has been absolutely stellar.
  2. Quite true. It's like in court when they say "the jury will disregard" something. You still heard it, and you're not going to just forget it.
  3. Gotcha. So Breer got it wrong. That's unusual for him but it would have been secondhand information. Hey, that's me (or so it's been suggested)
  4. That's been the knock on Ohio State quarterbacks in general. I know they say "don't scout the helmet" but I've mentioned before that a lot of times there's a reason or a trend of some sort that causes certain reputations. Again though, that's not always valid for every player.
  5. I don't remember if it was said that Richardson scored in the 90s. I remember hearing that he "did well". Kinda wonder if this has anything to do with recent reports that he's dropping.
  6. McGinn's been covering the Packers since I was a kid. He's legit. I've never heard of Golong.
  7. Meanwhile in Baltimore...
  8. The one thing I would say is that Bob McGinn isn't typically someone I would expect to leak information like this. And yeah, it is a test. Not the same as live football...
  9. If it genuinely comes from Bob McGinn, I'd say it's true. We'll see if there are any responses to it, of course.
  10. The main Twitter source is nobody I've heard of but the guy he's quoating (Bob McGinn) is a very legit source. the one seen quoting it (John Crumpler) is also valid.
  11. I remember Scott Fitterer openly saying in a season ending press conference after Rhule's second year that short arms on a tackle weren't that big a deal. At the time, it felt like a signal that all was not well in Pantherland; that there might be some... disharmony. Turns out there was.
  12. Thomas Davis has apparently jumped off the Richardson train...
  13. Our old coach apparently has a new set of wheels... Might possibly have come with a note from Dan Snyder saying "Shhhhh!' (seriously, nothing but love for Ron)
  14. Draft Day should absolutely be a national holiday The Monday after Super Bowl should as well.
  15. Heisman doesn't mean sh-t to me, especially since over the last several years it's tended to go to the more athletic quarterback types who are great in college but hit or miss in the NFL. The thing with Young though is he's not the world's greatest athlete. He's smart, processes quickly, has good accuracy and is overall just what you would want in a quarterback. The durability question is the only thing.
