    Where's PJ now though? Do you see any hubbub about teams looking to acquire him if he doesn't make the Bears? Might also be helpful to remember who it was that made that decision to keep Walker over Grier. Is that somebody whose judgment you want to cite for an argument?

    Here's a little from a guy whose opinion kind of matters... Gross-Matos has never played in anything but a 4-3 DE role (even in college). Kaye speculated further after Reich's answer.

    Gross-Matos not fitting a 3-4 defense isn't "assumption", it's analysis. It's also a conclusion numerous analysts have come to. What's also true is that I've seen plenty of players (better ones than YGM has shown) perform poorly because they were in the wrong system. In fact, that's a way more common occurrence than someone adapting to a system outside their skill set would be.
