We are in the “everyone is lying” zone of pre-draft
Mr. Scot replied to Doc Holiday's topic in Carolina Panthers
The one thing I feel like it's always necessary to point out at this time of year is that technically not everybody is lying all the time. A mixture of lies and truth is much harder to decode than a constant stream of lies. -
I mean...whether it's multiple injuries or just one that he can't seem to heal from, the result is sort of the same.

He's been hurt a lot, hasn't he?

Official Sound off like you got a pair Panthers Draft predictions thread
Mr. Scot replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've seen a few people asking if there's anybody left who doesn't know that Bryce Young is the #1 pick. I found this guy... -
The 33rd Team's mock by Rick Spielman and Mike Tannenbaum... Oddly enough, the top four quarterbacks end up in the same places Breer put them, with one slight adjustment. They have Hendon Hooker going ahead of Richardson (#18 to the Lions) Meanwhile Ben Albright mirrors Tony Pauline. Some consensus type things going on here Also, this from Albright on the Cardinals...
-
There are a few who knock Young's arm strength, but that's not real high on my list of priorities.
-
More "mockery" as Tony Pauline weighs in... Pauline has the Colts taking Levis, Stroud dropping to the Raiders and Richardson going to the Titans.
-
It's actually being predicted in a lot of places. The perception that this year's quarterback class isn't all that great is definitely out there. (might even say it's prevalent)
-
You're asking whether size matters?
-
I love good football. That fact has made it hard to be a Panthers fan over the last few years
-
Until we get our new state of the art practice facility
-
I've seen several say the same thing. That's why Breer doesn't think the Cardinals necessarily get a taker on #3.
-
I get the sentiment, but I'd also be okay with it if we got good and the rest just continued to suck
-
Didn't Kony Ealy have a story like that?
-
So unless I'm missing something, this guy actually has both Will Levis and Anthony Richardson dropping all the way out of the first round?
-
Jonathan Jones actually has a somewhat similar result. Jones sees Levis to the Colts at 4, Stroud to the Titans at 11 and Richardson to the Texans at 12. Still only two QBs in the top 10 and one taken at 12, but neither Richardson nor Levis falls as far for him as Breer has them.
-
Not quite true... Young has pretty much every quality that I prefer in a quarterback. The durability concerns scare me though. That's why my preference is Stroud, but I'd also be pretty happy with Young as long as we can keep him upright.

What got me with Rhule wasn't so much the Huddle but the media. Even there it's not so much that I was shocked by media hype as I was pissed that we fell for it
-
That's a damn near universal sentiment

Luke as orator about the number 1 pick
Mr. Scot replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Struck me a little odd too...
