  1. All right, people! After seeing some of the recent silliness, I'm done being subtle in these debates. It's past time I let my true feelings out. So here we go!!! ... @Ricky Spanish, If you ever showed up at my address, I would flip you the bird! No, not the finger, an actual bird. Probably this one: She's very people friendly, but if you prefer something smaller I've got several budgies that are totally hand tame and enjoy being around humans. ... @rayzor, If I saw you in person, I would give you a very mean mug! What do you think of this mug? I like it, but if you prefer something different I can keep shopping. Just give me some parameters on what you'd prefer. ... And lastly, @ladypanther, if I saw you getting ready to walk into a Walmart, I would not open the door for you! I mean, their doors are all automatic so it would be kind of a waste of time. Plus as you can see, there's not really a handle on them anyway so... ... Okay there... After getting all that off my chest I now feel much better. If anyone else has similar thoughts to share, feel free.
  2. Yeah, asking him to step outside would have been the wrong move. You should have waited till his back was turned then sucker punched him
  3. If we met in real life, I would give you the angriest look Seriously though, how do you let football discussion lead to something like that? Yeesh
  4. I'd say Tepper is retaking that course right now. First time through, he flunked.
  5. Actually it's playing the race card, and playing it poorly. Edit: Aaaannd he's gone.
  6. Dude, you sent an "if we meet in real life" PM to somebody. It's over.
  7. There was an article a while back (focused on Will Levis) that mentioned scouts liking to see a quarterback facing adversity because it was harder to gauge how good they really were if everything was easy. I hadn't really thought about that in relation to Stroud vs Young, but it really could apply here.
  8. Starting to agree with those who think we need just one merged megathread instead of a new thread every time someone else tweets that they think Bryce Young is the pick. One note regarding Jones: I've long been of the belief that he was the one who ultimately started the SI investigation into Jerry Richardson but wisely chose to remain behind the scenes.
  9. Again dude, you're bringing a lot of this on yourself though with the victim mindset I doubt you're going to see it that way. The best advice I could give you at this point would be to log off. If you really want to have football discussion, sign up with a different username and start over. You're pretty well painted yourself into a corner with your current ID.
  10. You haven't been helping anything "get back to football" dude, not in this thread or the others you're participating in. And the perpetual victim thing is just a path to nowhere.
  11. You mean like you've been doing? This is the problem: Everything you're accusing others of define your own M.O.
  12. Dude, if you wanna talk "immature", first look back at the things you've been posting and then stop trying to play the victim. There's plenty of good discussion to be had on this topic but you're not contributing to it.
  13. Something tells me our resident UNC fans might have some fun with this story... From the article... Davis also has faced multiple civil lawsuits in the past. For example, Davis and former Duke teammate Christian Laettner were once sued by former NBA great Scottie Pippen for failing to repay a loan in connection with an effort to buy the Memphis Grizzlies. “I have made business mistakes,” Davis said. “But in terms of character integrity, what I can say is that, unlike most, I didn’t file bankruptcy.” The aforementioned "business mistakes" have apparently involved taking out loans and not paying them back. There's also this, in response to suggestions that his backing money was coming from sources in Saudi Arabia... Ummm...Wow
  14. "I accepted (Young) once I decided to make this my username. His potential was too much to deny." "I chose this name as satire"
  15. Stay on your current path and I'm pretty sure @rayzor will be happy to "honor" you
  16. They'd have to trade up, and give up a lot to do so. I see zero chance of Stroud dropping to their spot.
  17. My reaction also If you were going for a comparison to a solid quarterback who had injury issues, I'd probably have gone for Chris Chandler. (granted Chandler wasn't as small as young)
