  1. As with most things in this process, if it's a Canales decision, I'm on board with it. If it's a Tepper decision, I question it. I'd really like to believe Tepper isn't stupid enough to keep another "boss's informant" around in the wake of last year's mess, but I've learned to never underestimate just how dumb Tepper can be in these matters. For what it's worth though, I would agree with those who say that doesn't seem consistent with Jim Caldwell's character.
  2. Florio breaks down the specifics...
  3. It's not so much "Lamar hate" as it is laughing at Camwhoacam...which if we're being honest is kinda justified.
  4. FYI: Finally had a moment to read the article. You're analysis is spot on. The only thing of any real consequence that we didn't already know is the mention of Jim Caldwell being retained. Person didn't seem to characterize that as a Canales decision. Not sure how I feel about that given the prior situation.
  5. I would agree he stays if he and Canales talk and agree they can work together. If not though, does Tepper really need another "sh-tty boss to work for" strike against him? Hell, why would Canales want him if he doesn't want to be here?
  6. I'm pretty sure Brady's going to come off as a douchebag, largely because...he is one.
  7. Tepper wouldn't have been in much of a position to meddle with Rhule because Rhule brought all of his own people with him. At least not up until the final season of course, which is when staff changes were made and when Campen, Tabor and others came aboard. Would definitely be interesting to know whether this stuff started then or didn't start until Reich.
  8. And per his own words, he doesn't plan to change his approach.
  9. if Fox remains committed to the stupid plan of replacing Greg Olsen with Tom Brady, then yesterday was his final broadcast as part of their top team. Might be his last with Fox at all, depending on his contract. Exceedingly dumb on their part if so...
  10. Wow Yeah, okay. None of this actually happened. People are just making it up because they hate David Tepper. Oy
  11. FYI... Haven't read this one yet, but Breer is generally pretty good.
  12. From an old friend... If Evero ultimately does want to be somewhere else, I'm not sure Canales would want to force him to stay here. If Tepper did, I kinda question the wisdom of that decision, especially given that internal chemistry and atmosphere is kind of an issue with this organization right now.
  13. There were more needed? For the record though, it might help if you remembered that "personal" decisions were more of a GM thing and the article is about sabotaging the coach. That by, you know, getting him to hire people he didn't know or have reason to trust. Also by using some of those people to undermine him. But hey, again you've explained how that really shouldn't stop anyone from doing a great job. I'm gonna assume this is from "personnel" experience, though it sounds like it's closer to Campen's experience than Reich's. Oy Look, dude. I get it. You want to be right. Or more importantly, you want me to be wrong. So you'll look for any angle, even one that goofily suggests an owner having people backstabbing one of his most important employees isn't such a big deal. It's a dumb argument, but it's what you're running with because you need to disagree with me. Honestly, that seems to be the only reason you post anything at all. But you're arguing a really silly point here in the process. I guess it's just that important to you. Might wanna ponder the wisdom of that, but you do you.
  14. Appreciated. I got a busy day ahead and I'll only be able to look at football stuff sporadically.
  15. You don't have receipts, dude. Hell, if you did I'm not sure you could read them.
  16. I haven't seen it yet and I'm getting my taxes done this morning. Maybe later though...
  17. I actually don't doubt he watched it. He just doesn't understand what he saw.
  18. I haven't asked Frank about any of his personal decisions, though i can tell you one decision he probably regrets is coming to work for an owner that was going to undermine him with spies stabbing him in the back. Of course, in your enlightened opinion, you think someone working in that environment should just carry on with a positive attitude and do the best they can. So what the heck is anybody complaining about anyway? Oh wait, did you mean personnel decisions? Well, that one regarding a quarterback was kind of a big deal. But hey, your sources tell you differently, so...
